A Florida woman has been sentenced to one month in jail after stealing the diary of Joe Biden's daughter, Ashley, and selling it to Project Veritas for $40,000 in 2020. Aimee Harris, 41, was also sentenced to three months of house arrest in Manhattan.

Project Veritas did not publish Ashley's diary at the time, per The New York Times, but "dozens of handwritten pages from it were posted" on the National File, stating that what they published was "a copy of the complete diary of Ashley Blazer Biden, the 39-year-old daughter of Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden, dating from during the 2020 presidential campaign."

The revelations from the diary include how the author wonders if she was molested as a minor, details her drug abuse, infidelity, and the family’s fears of a potential scandal due to Hunter Biden's new home. Other entries show "a deep resentment for her father due to his money, control, and emotional manipulation," as published by the National File.

According to The Daily Mail, Ashley speculated that showering with her dad as a young girl may have led to her sex addiction. Screenshots circulating online show a journal entry detailing that the writer had "always been boy crazy," and how she was "hyper-sexualized @ a young age ... I remember somewhat being sexualized with [a family member]; I remember having sex with friends @ a young age; showers w/ my dad (probably not appropriate)."

However, she also praised her parents in other pages. "I relapsed. F***ing again," it read. "The difference this time around was that I told Elizabeth, Mom + Dad this morning. Mom + Dad worried but incredibly supportive. I am so lucky to have them on my side."

Four months after that entry, the drug abuse left Ashley "on the brink of financial ruin and her father in tears," according to the outlet. This could explain why she was unable to pay $5,000 in taxes despite reportedly having an estimated net worth of nearly $2 million dollars. "My dad cried on the phone saying he has the debate in a week + now has to worry about you," she added.

"And he cried. Maybe he knows what he is doing + it's worked but my feelings of guilt often are overwhelming," the entry continued. She also wrote about cheating on her husband and seeing multiple men. When The Daily Mail requested comment from Ashley's representatives, they said, "We refuse to engage with an inquiry like this, which simply doesn't merit a response."

Is Ashley Biden's Diary Real?

The stolen diary is real, and the National File claims that the contents within them were handed by a Project Veritas employee.

The Intercept reported in September 2022 the employee provided the purported diary to the National File in October 2020, when Project Veritas had hesitations about publishing it.

However, Project Veritas founder James O'Keefe said they were unable to "authenticate" the diary and made the “ethical” decision not to publish it in 2020. The journalist said they attempted to return the property to a lawyer representing Ashley Biden, who “refused to authenticate it.”

The National File maintains that Project Veritas lied about the diary's unconfirmed status. "Project Veritas LIED and told the world that the Biden Diary WAS NOT confirmed to belong to Ashley, when THEY KNEW that it was," they said.
