Taylor Swift's Rumored Leaked Song Angers The Internet: "It’s The Worst Album"

Taylor Swift's The Tortured Poets Department is set to release on April 19, 2024, but alleged leaks have already begun to circulate on X (formerly Twitter). You'd expect people to be excited, but her lyrics have caused bad blood on social media.

"The Tortured Poets Department," track no. 2 of the album, went viral on X after it was leaked to the platform. There's no confirmation that these are the real lyrics, but fans are sure it's real. Shakespeare would probably roll in his grave if the deemed genius and brilliant songwriter penned the following: "You smoked then ate seven bars of chocolate / We declared Charlie Puth should be a bigger artist / I scratch your head, you fall asleep / Like a tattooed Golden Retriever."

"this is y’all’s greatest songwriter???" @babyloniaan wrote, followed by a screenshot of the lyrics.

In a now-deleted tweet by a fan account (@TaylorsEra_), the user said that TTPD might be Swift's worst album yet. "As an honest swiftie, listening to the TTPD leaks it’s the worst album there ever is," they wrote. "Well at least the worst album Taylor Swift has ever put out. She’s money hungry, lazy, desperate and she is a loser. I suggest listening to the telegram leaks to get a listen."

At the same time, there are still many fans who are into her new songs. People are also upset about how Swift is seemingly singing about her "problematic" ex, Matty Healy. "taylor is out of her rabbit *ss mind for saying matty healy is a tattooed golden retriever. baby that’s one of the rats from flushed away," tweeted @fairiesirens.

The song also mentions Charlie Puth, who was slammed for "spreading hate" toward Selena Gomez after he revealed that she wouldn't sleep with him. A Gomez fan account argued, "He [Puth] wrote a song calling one of your best friends [Gomez] manipulative for refusing sex multiple times🫠🫠🫠."

"She supports a man who supported genocide and the one who asked minors for nvdes. The man who will purposely make sh!t up about woman," @diorjenmin tweeted. "Yeah this y'all white FEMINIST. The woman that will use feminist/woman in the industry card when she needs it ONLY otherwise...."

I suspect that this will all blow over after tomorrow's release.
