Sean "Diddy" Combs was arrested in September, making headlines as shocking details about his alleged criminal activities came to light. The news came just one year after his ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, filed a lawsuit against him. Combs has been indicted on charges including conspiracy, sex trafficking, and racketeering and has faced allegations of manipulating and coercing women and raping a 13-year-old, as well as holding drug-fueled parties called “Freak-Offs.”

While many celebrities have stayed silent about the allegations, one person who isn’t surprised is 50 Cent. The rapper had been hinting at Diddy's behavior for years, often poking fun at him during podcast appearances. Reflecting on this, 50 Cent told PEOPLE, “I’ve been saying what I’ve been saying for 10 years. Now it's all becoming full-facing in the news with the Puffy stuff, but I stayed away from that because it’s not my style.”

As to why he never attended the parties that many A-list celebrities have frequented over the years, 50 Cent explained, “That’s why I don’t be going to them Puffy parties. N**** hug you from the front and the back at the same time? F**k you talking about?” In another resurfaced interview, 50 Cent explained why he never attended any of Diddy’s infamous parties, sharing that he was “not into that type of stuff” that typically went down there.

According to PEOPLE, the long-standing feud between the two artists goes back to 2006 when 50 Cent released the diss track “The Bomb” and accused Diddy of being connected to the 1997 murder of the Notorious B.I.G., an accusation Diddy has denied. Viewers also believe Diddy has something to do with Tupac’s death.

Now, following Combs' arrest, 50 Cent is taking things further, announcing a documentary project about the allegations against Diddy. “This is a story with significant human impact," 50 Cent said in a statement through his production company, G-Unit Film & Television. I hope he hired security guards. He added, "It spans decades, not just the headlines or clips seen so far. We want to give a voice to the voiceless and present an authentic and nuanced perspective.” He emphasized that while the allegations are disturbing, this story is not the full reflection of hip-hop culture.

It seems like 50 Cent has been waiting for this moment all along.
