Sacrificing our hard-earned cash for a little virtue signaling on Prime Day? Not in this economy.
Look, there are plenty of days to shop small. Go to your local farmers market this weekend to stock up on groceries, make a point to pick up handmade artisan gifts throughout the year for family and friends for Christmas and birthdays, or check out that new coffee shop downtown the next time you’re in the mood for Starbucks (a.k.a tomorrow).
The one official Prime Day of the entire year, however, is decidedly not one of those days.
