Angelina Jolie has been spotted with billionaire and environmentalist David Mayer de Rothschild. Page Six reports that both Jolie and Rothschild were seen leaving Nobu, with their outing lasting a total of three hours.

Angelina Jolie, 47, reportedly went out for lunch with billionaire heir David Mayer de Rothschild, 44, last Thursday. The duo was seen having a conversation as they left Nobu in Malibu, California. The Maleficent star wore a long, black dress and smiled on her way out, while Rothschild kept it casual with his attire.

The rumored romance has already made its rounds on social media, and people are now saying that Jolie "upgraded" from her ex, Brad Pitt. However, sources close to PEOPLE have stated that their lunch was "only for business purposes."

Rothschild's net worth is currently estimated to be nearly $10 billion, according to some websites. He was dubbed a "climate hero" by the United Nations Environment Program back in 2009. The Girl Interrupted actress was also involved with the United Nations Refugee Agency for over 20 years but recently stepped down as a U.N. refugee envoy in December 2022. "I will continue to do everything in my power in the years to come to support refugees and other displaced people," Jolie said in her statement.

She added, "After 20 years working within the U.N. system, I feel it is time for me to work differently, engaging directly with refugees and local organizations, and supporting their advocacy for solutions."
