Bobbi Althoff seemingly appeared out of nowhere, becoming a social media sensation in as little as a couple of months. Her podcast, The Really Good Podcast, recently featured some of the biggest stars, including comedian Funny Marko, Tyga, and Mark Cuban.

Althoff's virality is largely due to her deadpan humor and the awkward banter between her and her guests. The most notable celebrity she's spoken with so far, however, seems to be the rapper Drake.

Althoff's interview with Drake took off on YouTube, garnering over 10 million views on the platform. The video, uploaded in July, shows the host and the rapper sharing a blanket on the bed as they went candid. The setting they chose is certainly odd, considering Althoff is married with kids. But as weird as this setup was, it got people talking about her podcast – many also wanted to know how an influencer managed to book one of the biggest musicians in the world. All eyes were suddenly both on Althoff and Drake.

Now social media users wonder if the duo are fighting after unfollowing each other from Instagram. The podcast episode was also removed from YouTube, and its clips are no longer found on Althoff's TikTok account. Strange, since they seemed to be in cahoots just a month ago.

Did Drake Unfollow Althoff Because of Her Concert Video?

One day ago, Althoff uploaded a video of herself at Drake's concert with two other (more enthusiastic) friends. As Drake rapped on stage, she stood around looking unimpressed. "Really in my element here @ this guys concert," she wrote in the caption.

Some X users believe Drake didn't take the joke too well, but I don't believe this is why they unfollowed each other. The rapper has always been a good sport about embracing the memes.

Is Bobbi Althoff Signed with Drake's Management?

Maybe the unfollowing is a setup for Althoff and Drake’s podcast episode to stay relevant. Perhaps Althoff plans to bring the rapper on her show again, and this unfollowing will make people watch the new episode since they’ll be curious about what happened.

Social media users also noticed that Althoff is reportedly signed under the same management as Drake. A recent Dallas Morning News article revealed that Althoff was connected with Mark Cuban through her agent, T.J. Bernardy. As it turns out, Bernardy is a partner to William Morris Endeavor, the same agency that Drake is signed to. It would be hard to believe that Althoff and Drake are on bad terms, considering they could be under the same company.

The influencer never mentioned this, though, and once said she simply decided to DM Drake one day, and he responded. “I decided to just go for it and shoot my shot. I DMed Drake and asked if he wanted to be on my podcast, and he said yes,” she recalled. “He sent me his touring schedule, and I knew that I needed to make it happen fast, so my friend and I flew to Memphis two days after the original DM was sent to record the episode.”

We still don't know the details of this "unfollowing" situation, but according to some of the comments on Althoff's Instagram posts, everything seems to point to a PR stunt. It's best not to judge Althoff too quickly – she's doing her best as a rising star. "The overwhelming majority of the feedback I’ve seen has been positive, but it’s obviously hard to read negative comments," Althoff told Cosmopolitan. "That’s what’s nice about not putting the real me out there too much. They’re really judging a character, not me. I know I’m a good person. I know that I’m a good mom. There are these truths to myself that I know, and no one can take them away from me."

She continued, "I wanted to be a mom my whole life. I love my kids. I’m doing everything for these two girls. I’m proud of myself as a mom and who I am to my girls. It’s hard to balance a career with two little kids, but when I’m not with them, I know they’re taken care of."
