Bill Gates' Daughter Phoebe Says Friends Cut Her Off Because Of "Vaccine Conspiracy Theories"
Phoebe Gates' friends no longer wanted to associate with her because of her dad.
Phoebe Gates says that her friends cut her off because of “vaccine conspiracy theories.”
In Bill Gates's new Netflix docuseries, What’s Next? The Future with Bill Gates, the 22 year old opened up about the vaccine narratives that have actually caused some of her friends to cut ties with her. “I’ve even had friends cut me off because of these vaccine rumors,” she admits.
While mainstream media scoffs at Phoebe’s former friends, it’s important to mention a 2020 interview in which Bill Gates struggled to answer questions about vaccine safety. The clip, viewed over 5.8 million times, sparked a wave of skepticism (and rightly so). Bill’s hesitance during the interview, where he failed to provide a straightforward “yes” or “no” answer to the question of whether the vaccines are safe, doesn’t help the public’s doubt of these vaccines.
Phoebe’s ex-friends’ concerns are rooted in real anxiety, which stems from a distrust of agencies that failed Americans and a general wariness toward authority figures, all amplified by constant mistakes from organizations like the FDA. Bill Gates also flew on Jeffrey Epstein's Lolita Express, and there have been countless reports of individuals who have been injured by the vaccine.
Phoebe believes people just want to be entertained rather than face the “truth.” She says, “People want an escape, they want to laugh, they want an engaging video, they want to be taken away from boring reality."
During a conversation in the docuseries, Bill comments on the “spread of misinformation” during the COVID pandemic, stating it’s "scary" to think about what might happen if a pandemic were to strike that’s “10 times worse.” Phoebe quickly jumps in, warning him not to say too much. “They’re gonna think you’re gonna cause it then.” They both laugh.
“That’s right, I’m working on it,” Bill says.
Phoebe reminds the production team, “You can’t go telling people something’s gonna happen because then when it happens, they’re like ‘Ohhhhh!’” and the “short form” video of such comments will go viral and get “millions of views.”
