Bradley Cooper Starred In A T-Mobile Super Bowl Commercial With His Mom Who Lovingly Roasted Him
Super Bowl LVII boasted some largely average commercials, but there was one that stood out in everyone's minds: Bradley Cooper and his mom in their cute T-Mobile ad.
Millions of Americans watched the sporting event of the year that nearly holds the weight of a national holiday at this point: Super Bowl LVII. Commercials are always a main feature of the big game, serving as the only attraction for some to even watch the event. One of the most talked about ads is the newest T-Mobile duo, Bradley Cooper and his mom. It's always a head turner when a celebrity brings his mom to the red carpet or award show, but this has taken things to a whole new level. People on Twitter are already requesting that Bradley and his mom have their very own sitcom.
Bradley Cooper Starred in a T-Mobile Super Bowl Commercial with His Mom and They're a Natural Comedy Duo
T-Mobile broke the fourth wall with their audience and prospective customers in their Super Bowl ad. A presenter in a suit walks out from what is supposed to be the behind-the-scenes crew area, and introduces Bradley Cooper and his mom who are here "to tell you all about the incredible things about T-Mobile." Bradley is pretending to be a T-Mobile employee, pink t-shirt and all, and his mom is trying to play along but she just ends up busting his chops.
"I don't like the way you look," she says. Bradley can't help but laugh. They stumble over their lines together. "You look like a flamingo in this," she adds. There are a couple more exchanges of their trying to master the lines and subsequently goofing off together. When Bradley is trying to convince his mom he doesn't need her advice on what to do in front of the camera, he pulls out the big guns: "I think I know what I'm doing. I've been nominated 9 times." She fires back, "Yeah, but you never won any."
People couldn't help but talk about the commercial online, whether it was about the freshly debuted mother-son duo or the way that Bradley Cooper has all but taken over the 2023 Super Bowl.
Bradley Cooper also made an appearance at the game, building some attention over his hairstyle and general display of enthusiasm. People can't stop talking about his hair, insisting that he either has a barber who hates him or he is wearing some sort of ill-fitting hair piece.
Whether you thought the duo was forced and only slightly funny at best, or you absolutely loved their rapport and begged for more, the commercial did what it was intended to do: get everyone talking about it.
