Britney Spears Marries Longtime Boyfriend Sam Asghari And Her Ex-Husband Attempts To Crash Their Wedding
Seven months after being freed from her conservatorship, pop star Britney Spears marries her longtime boyfriend Sam Asghari. The two were expecting a baby earlier this year but unfortunately suffered a miscarriage in March.
The Associated Press reported on the couple's nuptials yesterday and Asghari's representative Brandon Cohen confirmed their wedding took place. Asghari and Spears have been engaged for nine months and a couple since 2017. He was featured in her "Slumber Party" music video, and he left his phone number in her bag. Since then, the two have been inseparable.

Spears wore a Versace wedding gown and made a few outfit changes throughout the night. Celebrities in attendance included Madonna, Drew Barrymore, Selena Gomez, and Donatella Versace herself. Reverend Clint Hufft, who just married Paris Hilton and Carter Reum, officiated the ceremony.
“I am very ecstatic this day has come, and they are married. I know he wanted this for so long. He is so caring and supportive every step of the way," Asghari's rep Cohen told the AP.
But the day didn't go without drama. Spears' first husband Jason Alexander showed up to the venue while on an Instagram livestream, approaching the security at the event and demanding to be let in.
"She's my first wife, my only wife," Alexander said. He and Spears were married in 2004 for only 55 hours. Ventura County Sherriff's Captain Cameron Henderson said they responded to a trespassing call yesterday afternoon around 2 p.m. Alexander was removed from the property and arrested as there was a warrant for his arrest in another county.
That didn't stop Spears and Asghari from enjoying their big day. Although Spears' family were not present, the couple sang and danced the night away with friends, and they left the ceremony shortly after 10 p.m. in a white Rolls-Royce with a "Just Married" sign on the back.
