Corporate Media Called Us Conspiracy Theorists For Years. Now, They're Admitting We Were Right About Covid

In a recent Wall Street Journal article, the headline read: "It’s Official: We Can Pretty Much Treat Covid Like the Flu Now. Here’s a Guide." Following new CDC guidelines, Covid precautions are now being aligned with those for other respiratory viruses – an approach that many medical experts have encouraged since the start of the pandemic.

Now, after years of labeling those who advocated for a more cautioned approach as “conspiracy theorists,” corporate media is attempting to quietly pivot away from their hysterical, agenda-driven reporting and its disastrous results. The consequences of their actions, from mask mandates to lockdowns, have had profoundly negative effects on society, the environment, and individual health.

Mask Mandates: Hypocrisy, Control, and Performative "Safety"

While celebrities and politicians often appeared in public without masks, everyday citizens faced strict enforcement, often being denied entry for non-compliance. The  impact on children is most alarming, with speech delays rising over 300%. Similarly, the increase in mask litter by 80% worldwide and the release of 1.56 billion face masks into the oceans resulted in a significant environmental hazard,

The Price of Social Distancing and Lockdowns

The enforcement of social distancing measures and lockdowns have also had a deeply negative impact on mental and physical health. Solitary confinement, a punishment used in prisons, was effectively imposed on the wider population. This approach led to increased isolation, particularly for the elderly, negatively impacting their overall well-being. The decision to enforce such measures, despite evidence showing minimal effectiveness in reducing Covid mortality rates, has led to devastating outcomes, including a surge in suicide attempts among children and teenagers.

Vaccine Rollout: Questions Unanswered

With an executive from Pfizer admitting that the vaccines were never tested for their ability to prevent transmission, many are left questioning the push for widespread vaccination, especially considering the associated risks, such as increased rates of myocarditis and disrupted menstrual cycles.

Evie's Commitment to Truth

Throughout the pandemic, Evie Magazine has stood out for its commitment to factual reporting, even when most other women's publications were sharing hysterical misinformation. From the beginning, we've focused on presenting the facts, continuing our accurate reporting even as legacy media groups labeled us conspiracy theorists. Americans deserve the truth, and that's why Evie has always been bold in sharing it. Our dedication to truth, especially in times of widespread panic and confusion, underscores our commitment to our readers.

Reflection is Critical

As we move toward treating Covid-19 with the same approach as the flu, which we should’ve done from the beginning, reflecting on the past actions and their implications is critical. The disparity in treatment between the general public and those in positions of power, the environmental fallout from disposable masks, the mental health crisis exacerbated by lockdowns, and the unanswered questions surrounding the vaccine rollout all serve as reminders of what happens when the media prioritizes a political agenda over the truth.
