Courteney Cox Candidly Admits That Her Previous Cosmetic Procedures Left Her "Looking Really Strange"
"Friends" star Courteney Cox is 57 years old (time flies!) and recently opened up to Sunday Times Style magazine about what it's like to age gracefully in the spotlight.
It feels like yesterday that Courteney Cox and Jennifer Aniston filled up our TV screens with the hit show Friends. But it's been 28 years already since the pilot episode aired, and since then there have been a lot of changes in the cast's lives.
Courteney Cox Opens Up about Her Cosmetic Procedures
Courteney has always been a beauty with bright blue eyes and wavy brown hair, but she admits in a recent interview that she wouldn't necessarily make the same choices when it comes to cosmetic procedures if she were granted the chance to turn back time.
“There was a time when you go, ‘Oh, I’m changing. I’m looking older.’ And I tried to chase that [youthfulness] for years,” Courteney said. “And I didn’t realize that, oh s–t, I’m actually looking really strange with injections and doing stuff to my face that I would never do now.”
She realized what the public was saying about her new look, and she decided that it was time to slow down with the procedures. Courteney acknowledges that aging isn't easy and it's sometimes scary how quickly time flies by, but she is happy with where she's at in life right now.

"I can obviously relate to being that age where you’re like, ‘Oh wow, I can’t believe I’m right here,’ and [asking] what makes you happy. I understand that midlife stuff completely," she said.
She's much "more grounded" at the stage she's in right now than she was at a younger age. "I've learned so much in my life—what to enjoy, what to try to do more of and what to let go of," she shared. Even if she took some missteps previously with the cosmetic procedures she chose to get, Courteney is in a happy place now and is looking forward to her future.
