Alexa may be riddling off near 100-degree temps day after day, and my eyebrows may be gradually sliding off my face during every afternoon walk, but I have blissfully moved onto fall in my mind. I’m ready to risk it all and crank up the A/C in my house so I can layer chunky knit sweaters over cozy leggings to the tune of Taylor Swift’s Folklore album without a care in the world.
Joking aside, since I’m decidedly over squeezing into my distressed denim shorts and grabbing the same sundresses I’ve worn on repeat this summer, I’ve been looking ahead to fall fashion. I distinctly remember the swift transition of blazing hot summer days to a chilly autumn breeze in years past, and the thought of being unprepared this year for that shift sends a shiver down my spine. Waste the first few weeks of my favorite season waiting around for out-of-stock popular items or risk shipping delays? No thanks.
