President Donald Trump has officially signed an executive order banning transgender athletes from participating in women’s sports. Young female athletes who stood beside him in the East Room of the White House cheered as he penned the order.

Titled "Keeping Men Out of Women's Sports," the executive order mandates immediate enforcement of policies that prohibit transgender women from competing in female sports categories. It directs federal agencies, including the Department of Justice, to enforce Title IX protections based on sex instead of gender identity. Schools and athletic associations that fail to comply could face legal action and lose federal funding.

Trump made his stance clear during the signing ceremony, stating, "Under the Trump administration, we will defend the proud tradition of female athletes, and we will not allow men to beat up, injure and cheat our women and our girls." Last year, a viral video showed a female player for the Collegiate Charter wrestling for a rebound with a male athlete from KIPP Academy. He injured the girl in the process, as well as two other girls in separate incidents. The male, who identifies as transgender, is more than 6 feet tall and has facial hair. In the clip, one girl is seen grabbing her back in pain after being thrown to the ground.

Trump was surrounded by 600 attendees, including former and current female athletes such as activist Riley Gaines.

The executive order also extends to international competition and immigration policy. Now, the Secretary of State is pushing for changes within the International Olympic Committee (IOC) to maintain single-sex competition and orders the Department of Homeland Security to review visa policies to prevent transgender women from entering the U.S. under a female identity to compete in women's sports.

"We want to take actions to affirmatively protect women's sports," said May Mailman, deputy assistant to the president.

The Biden Administration's Attempts to Erase Women

The Biden-Harris administration attempted to rewrite Title IX, the landmark law designed to protect women in education and sports, by expanding its definitions to include sweeping protections and privileges for transgender athletes. His administration sought to force schools and institutions to allow males to compete in women's sports, access female-only spaces, and redefine sex-based protections, effectively erasing the original intent of Title IX.

However, Trump-appointed judges played a crucial role in blocking many of Biden's overreaching policies. Legal challenges, particularly from female athletes and advocacy groups, helped stall the administration’s radical changes. Now, under Trump’s leadership, efforts are underway to dismantle Biden’s Title IX rewrites and restore protections for women in sports and private spaces.

Trump is actively working to ensure that sex, not gender identity, determines eligibility in women’s sports, defending fairness and safety for female athletes. His administration is carefully reversing Biden’s erosion of women’s rights, reinforcing Title IX’s original purpose—to protect opportunities for women, not erase them.

The Girls Who Have Suffered

While Biden’s Title IX rewrite was framed as "inclusive," in reality, it forced girls and women to pay the price—losing scholarships, facing serious injuries, and being pushed out of their own sports. These are not just abstract policy debates; they are real stories of young women who have suffered because biological males were given access to female competition.

One of the most horrifying examples of this injustice occurred in North Carolina, where a high school female volleyball player suffered a severe spinal injury after a transgender athlete (a male) spiked the ball at an extremely high velocity, far beyond the capability of most female players. The girl was knocked unconscious and left partially paralyzed.

Across the country, middle school and high school girls have been robbed of their hard-earned opportunities in track and field due to the presence of boys dominating their events. In Connecticut, two males identifying as female shattered records in girls’ track, taking home 15 state championship titles that previously belonged to female athletes.

These young women trained tirelessly, only to be pushed out of scholarship opportunities and told to accept second place in their own sport.

Perhaps the most heartbreaking example of Biden’s gender policies harming young girls comes from California, where a group of third-grade girls bravely spoke out against their school’s decision to allow males in female bathrooms. These young children, just eight and nine years old, pleaded with the school board to keep their bathrooms safe, expressing fear and discomfort about having to share their private spaces with boys.

Instead of listening to their concerns, school board members dismissed them, brushing aside the safety and privacy of these young girls in the name of “inclusivity.” Their message was clear: ideological agendas come before the well-being of female students. Parents were outraged, but the board members refused to reverse the policy, forcing these little girls to either comply or risk punishment for standing up for their right to privacy.

Men Stealing Women’s Achievements

The trend of biological males breaking female sports records is accelerating. In swimming, cycling, and weightlifting, male athletes are entering women’s divisions and instantly demolishing records that took decades for women to achieve. Lia Thomas, a male, famously dominated NCAA women’s swimming, leaving top female athletes like Gaines with no chance of winning in a sport they had trained for since childhood.

Meanwhile, powerlifting events have seen men setting new “women’s” records by absurd margins, making a mockery of female competition. In Canada, a biological male lifter identifying as female shattered the bench press record by lifting over 200 pounds more than the top female competitor.

These stories highlight the real victims of Democrats' radical gender policies—females. Unlike Biden, Trump has vowed to protect women’s sports and spaces by reversing these policies and ensuring that Title IX remains true to its original intent: protecting opportunities for women, not taking them away.

A Victory for Women

Reports of female athletes suffering injuries from competing against males have fueled support for policies like this. Additionally, there are privacy and safety concerns when male athletes are allowed into spaces designated for women and girls, such as bathrooms, showers, hotel rooms, and locker rooms.

"The Executive Order calls for the convening of private sporting bodies in the White House to hear, in person, the stories of female athletes who suffer life-long injuries, who have been silenced and forced to shower with men, and whose hard work has been cast aside due to the biological advantage of males," the White House document states.

Trump has been hailed as pro-woman since signing the documents. @BridgetPhetasy on X tweeted, "The greatest feminist president of our time."

Author JK Rowling supported Trump’s decision as well: “Congratulations to every single person on the left who’s been campaigning to destroy women’s and girls’ rights,” she wrote. “Without you, there’d be no images like this.”
