When it was announced that Tesla founder and billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk was buying Twitter for $44 billion, many celebrated the idea that Twitter could potentially become the most free-speech social media platform available to users. Simultaneously, many celebrities and progressive activists lamented the news, claiming that Musk's takeover would somehow lead to fascism. However, nobody can deny that Twitter's platform has become a much better place for users since he became CEO. Not only are there better features, such as Twitter Blue that allows you to edit tweets and gives you more visibility, but there is no more tolerance of impersonation, doxxing, and violent threats made against others, regardless of what their political affiliation may be. Twitter users have also learned that Musk's Twitter also has zero tolerance for any accounts that praise pedophilia.

Elon Musk Permanently Bans Twitter Account That Created a Pedophilia Pride Flag

An account called @ZeebDemon posted a flag on Tuesday that was meant to celebrate the "youth attracted person," which is just another name for a pedophile. "Happy Alice Day, to those who celebrate!" the post read. "I figured, why not use today to unveil the YAP (Youth Attracted Person) pride flag I designed almost a year ago." Alice Day is apparently a day in which child sex abusers share tips and stories with each other online, an annual pedophilia pride day of sorts. It falls on April 25 each year.

The so-called YAP flag was blue, yellow, purple, and red, and people immediately flooded the comment section to express disgust and disbelief that anyone would so blatantly celebrate the heinous crime of sexually abusing children, even if it's under the guise of compassion for people who struggle with this kind of sexual attraction. Many users suggested a woodchipper to deal with anyone who sanctions child rape. It didn't take long for the whole account to be wiped from Twitter, though.

Dr. Anastasia Maria Loupis, Twitter user @DrLoupis, tweeted, "Elon Musk suspended the person who made a pedophilia flag. Well done, Elon." She also shared screenshots of what the tweets looked like, but they are no longer available for viewing. Twitter has ensured that all traces of this content has been permanently nuked.

"Not tolerated on this platform," Elon replied to her tweet.

Elon Musk's reply has more than 416,000 likes and 30,000 retweets. Thousands of people responded with praise and gratitude that Elon was taking such a strong stance against pedophilia, especially compared to the other social media platforms that have been lenient and tolerant of child sex abuse. Facebook and Instagram are well known to tolerate profiles and content that promote young children in sexual situations, and there have been reports that Facebook refuses to remove content that displays child exploitation. Meanwhile, Elon Musk won't even tolerate a flag that embodies pedophilia.
