Evie Magazine has officially launched the 2023 Model Search. Women aged 18 and above are invited to compete for a chance to showcase their distinctive beauty and unique femininity. The winner will receive an all-expenses-paid photoshoot in either NYC or Miami, under the direction of creative duo B&G. This exclusive shoot, which will be conducted by a top-tier fashion photographer and supported by a professional glam team, will be featured in Evie's 2023 Print Magazine. Additionally, the winner will secure a contract with Ford Miami, with potential global representation by Ford Worldwide.
Founded in 1946 by Eileen and Jerry Ford in New York City, Ford Models has cemented itself as one of the most prestigious modeling agencies in the world. It’s not just an agency; it's an institution in the fashion world, having discovered and nurtured some of the industry's most iconic faces. Ford Models is renowned for its keen ability to scout and develop raw talent, turning them into international superstars. They've set industry standards and pioneered the concept of the "supermodel" – a model who transcends the fashion world to become a celebrity in her own right.
Throughout its illustrious history, Ford Models has represented a plethora of the world's most famous models, many of whom have graced the covers of top fashion magazines, fronted global campaigns, and walked the runways for premier designers. Some of the most notable names include Christie Brinkley, Brooke Shields, Christy Turlington, and Naomi Campbell.
The last model Evie discovered, Kahealani Papke, appeared on the cover of the 2022 print edition. As a result, she was subsequently booked by iconic supermodel Candice Swanepoel for Tropic of C and was featured in Maxim’s Hot 100.
The contest concludes on August 30, and the 2023 finalists will be chosen by a committee of Evie editors and Ford Miami agents. The finalist results will be posted to Evie's Instagram, where our audience will help us narrow down the search by voting for their favorites.
To participate, entrants need to register via the contest portal, provide necessary details, photos, a $25 fee, a brief write-up, and share the contest flier to their Instagram story along with a photo of themselves. Evie is excited to uncover and highlight the diverse beauty of undiscovered talents.
