Director Guy Ritchie and stars Henry Cavill, Henry Golding, Hero Fiennes Tiffin, and Alex Pettyfer chatted with The Hollywood Reporter about their new film The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare. Ritchie was explaining what made these particular actors the perfect group of "ungentlemanly" men when he shared the very gentlemanly fact that Cavill is known for standing up whenever a woman enters the room.

"Henry Cavill stands up whenever a lady walks in the room. He’s been consistent with that all the way through. I’ve made two movies with him. You have never failed to stand up when a lady walks in."

Cavill, 40, smiled and replied, "There you go," before switching the subject to one of his castmates.

Comments on social media are what you would expect, with hundreds of women gushing over Cavill's combination of good looks and good manners. One woman wrote "How do you not adore this man, with the small number of gentlemen that exist, in addition to all the values that Henry has as a person, it is impossible not to have him as a standard of masculine ideal for every woman who has a high standard and does not conform. with little in what you want to have as a partner."

This isn't the first time female fans have fawned over Cavill's interviews. He also made waves a few months ago for sharing his candid thoughts on sex scenes.

"I can’t get my head around sex scenes," stated Argyle director, Michael Vaughn. "I feel quite awkward about them." This prompted a laugh from Cavill. “You feel awkward about them?” he asked. Vaughn added, "It’s like, "Take your clothes off, get in bed." Is that acting? I suppose it is."

Cavill responded, "There are actually circumstances where a sex scene is beneficial to a movie, but I think sometimes they’re just overused these days. I think it’s when you get that sense of, is this really necessary, or is it just people with less clothing on? Sometimes those scenes can add something great to a movie, but usually, the human imagination will trump it. It’s a bit of a cop-out if a TV show or movie is just filled with gyrating bodies."

Just go ahead and add that to the endlessly long reasons why women love Henry Cavill.
