Hailey Bieber Reignites Selena Gomez Drama By "Liking" Shady Video Of Her On TikTok

Just when we thought the rumored feud between Hailey Bieber and Selena Gomez had simmered down, the Rhode founder has stirred things up again by allegedly liking a messy post on TikTok.

TikTok user @courtneypresto made a post reacting to Selena and Benny Blanco’s new "cringey" photoshoot, captioning it, "I had to look at these photos so you do too." She then doubled down in the caption, writing, "This is the WORST."

Courtney later followed up with a video saying, "Hailey Bieber herself liked my TikTok. Don't necessarily come for me in the comments, but I was being a little shady to Selena Gomez." She shared her receipts by showing a screenshot of the like.

This instantly reignited the long-running speculation that Hailey isn’t as “unbothered” as she claims. Courtney went on, "That means that the Selena Gomez Justin Bieber beef is alive and well people. Hailey probably hates Selena. I feel like this is definitive proof that when Hailey Bieber is like, 'oh, it's all love. It's all good. We have absolutely no beef. Everything is completely fine.' She's lying."

The Internet’s Not Buying It

Pop culture commentator @stephwithdadeets condemns her behavior. "I'm sorry, but this is getting ridiculous at this point. Like Hailey Bieber, do you not know how to use a fake account? By now you have heard that Hailey Bieber liked a shady Selena Gomez post. Again! Like, how many times are we gonna do this?"

At the same time, Bieber's fans believe the image was photoshopped, stating that the blue checkmark looks too close to her name. However, this isn't proof it was photoshopped, as many others have taken similar screenshots showing the same thing.

A History of Shady Behavior?

This isn’t the first time Hailey’s social media activity has been called out for possible Selena-related pettiness. Back in 2023, she was accused of shading Selena in a now-deleted TikTok, where she and Kendall Jenner mouthed along to the audio, "I’m not saying she deserves it, but I’m saying God’s timing is always right."

The internet didn’t think this was a coincidence, especially since Selena had just been body-shamed for her lupus-related weight fluctuations. At the time, Selena kept it classy, telling fans, "It's ok! I don't let these things get me down! Be nice to everyone! x." Meanwhile, Hailey insisted the TikTok "wasn't directed at anyone."

But Weren’t They Cool Now?

Selena tried to put the drama to rest last year when she publicly asked fans to stop harassing Hailey. She wrote on Instagram, "Hailey Bieber reached out to me and let me know that she has been receiving death threats and such hateful negativity. This isn't what I stand for. No one should have to experience hate or bullying." She even followed Hailey on Instagram, leading some to believe the bad blood was finally behind them.

Yet, here we are in 2025, and the same drama has been reignited. So the question remains: Did Hailey actually like that shady TikTok? Was it photoshopped, or was this an accidental tap while scrolling?

Adding to the mess, Justin Bieber unfollowed Hailey on Instagram back in January. His excuse was, "Someone went on my account and unfollowed my wife. S–t is getting suss out here." Hackers have nothing better to do than unfollow Hailey Bieber, I guess.

Of course, fans immediately called BS. As one person pointed out, "Hopefully this was a mistake cause they just had a child." Others speculated this could be a PR stunt, especially since Justin has a new album coming soon. Will this "drama" between the three of them ever end?
