Splitting your hair in the middle has been the trend for years, but it looks like celebrities are finally going back to the side part.

For years, TikTok influencers have been criticizing the side part while declaring the middle part as the best way to wear your hair. The videos were enough to make thousands of women change their hairstyles to hop on the trend, but it seems there are tons of celebrities who decided to go against the grain — and we absolutely love them for it! There isn't a "one-size-fits-all" hairstyle, makeup look, or outfit, and it's time we learn to pause before hopping on trends. Because despite what TikTok says about parting your hair away from the middle, these famous women have proved them wrong by rocking the side part in 2022.

Kim Kardashian

Fashion icon and socialite Kim Kardashian posted a picture on Instagram one week ago, showing off her white side-parted locks. Forget what people have been saying about the hairstyle — Kardashian is living proof that the side part is still alive and it looks amazing!

Selena Gomez

Selena Gomez’s hairstyles have all been different throughout the years. In her Disney days, she wore her bangs to the side with layered hair. As an adult, she often had shorter hair that was usually parted in the middle. Recently, she shared a photo of herself with her hair parted to the side, and we think it looks chic and classy!

Adele

Adele has always worn her voluminous, blonde, side-swept hair. But in 2022, she gave the middle part an attempt and she looked beautiful. It seems it was short-lived, though, because her newest photoshoots feature her original hairstyle which we all know and love.

Miley Cyrus

Former Disney star and singer Miley Cyrus has never abandoned her side part. True to her original style, she's never switched to the middle since her debut in 2001.

Jennifer Aniston

Jennifer Aniston’s hairstyles have always looked iconic, including her short “Rachel haircut” from the early '90s. Throughout the years, she’s worn her hair in the middle and the side, but she seems to favor the latter more.

Blake Lively

Like the other beautiful women on this list, Blake Lively never fell for the trend either. She has stayed true to her side part for a while now, and it doesn’t look like that’s going to be changing anytime soon.

Zendaya

Zendaya's look is always changing, making her one of the most significant figures in the fashion world. Throughout the years, she’s worn her hair straight, natural, up, down —
whatever hairstyle you can think of, she’s probably worn it. And, no surprise here, Zendaya has shown us that she looks absolutely stunning with a side part.

Millie Bobby Brown

Stranger Things star Millie Bobby brown has transformed over the years, from no hair to a full head of hair with bangs. Here’s a photo of her trying out the side part in 2022, which looks glamorous and luxurious.

Gal Gadot

What's with the side part hate? I mean, even Wonder Woman has always worn her hair to the side! Her curly, voluminous hair in the movies has made her one of the most gorgeous superheroes to ever exist on the screen. It seems Gadot is aware of how well the side part suits and frames her face, and we’re glad she’s not changing it!

Emma Roberts

Emma Roberts looks pretty in any hairstyle. Her short hair has always framed her face, and her long hair brought out her naturally, pretty features. Regardless of what style she chooses now, the side part reigns supreme!

Closing Thoughts

As you can see, the middle part is not for everyone. Depending on your face shape and features, you might just look amazing with a side part. I think it’s time to stop listening to trends and find out what suits you best instead.
