Since the shocking incident, Will Smith has apologized to the Academy, and shortly after, he was banned from the Oscars for the next decade. Chris Rock briefly brought up the incident in one of his recent standup routines, but that was about it. And Jada Pinkett Smith posted a cryptic message on her Instagram saying that "this is a season for healing" and she's "here for it." Jada recently had something else to say about the slap heard around the world, and this time it was in relation to her Facebook show Red Table Talk.

Jada Pinkett Smith Says Her Family Is "Focused on Deep Healing"

In the latest episode of Red Table Talk, a note appeared in the beginning of the episode that was penned by Jada. "Considering all that has happened in the last few weeks, the Smith family has been focused on deep healing," the message read. "Some of the discoveries around our healing will be shared at the table when the time calls."

"Until then the table will continue offering itself to powerful, inspiring and healing testimonies like that of our incredibly impressive first guest. Thanks for joining us, Jada," it concluded.

In other words, Jada, her daughter, and her mother aren't planning on talking about Will slapping Chris anytime soon on their show. But they may address it in the future "when the time calls."

It's speculated that this episode was filmed before the Oscars took place on March 27, and Janelle Monae is the guest who talks about her "pansexual," "non-binary" identity. There have been some rumors that Will and Jada are going to get divorced soon, but that has yet to be confirmed by either one of them or their reps.
