Jason Momoa And Lisa Bonet Are Calling Off Their Divorce And Giving Their Marriage Another Shot
Actors Jason Momoa and Lisa Bonet announced their plans to split on January 12 via Jason's Instagram. The couple has been together for 17 years so the news came as a surprise to many.
Fans expressed their sadness at the news of their divorce, but it turns out that the adorable couple may be giving it another shot. The Instagram post in which Jason shared news of their breakup has since been deleted, and a source close to the family says they are working things out.
Jason Momoa and Lisa Bonet Are Living Together Again
"We free each other to be who we are learning to become," Jason originally wrote in the caption of his Instagram post. But a friend told Hollywood Life that they are giving their marriage another chance.
"Jason moved back in with Lisa about two weeks ago and they are very much back together,” the source said. “They decided to work on things rather than throw in the towel because they have so much invested in each other.”
The couple first met in 2005 and had their first child, Lola, in 2007. Their son, Nakoa-Wolf, was born in 2008. They got married in Topanga, CA in 2017 in a private ceremony. The source also said that the two children are "obviously thrilled" that their parents are trying to stay together. In fact, they said that "everyone is really hoping that they can make this work this time around."
With the high rates of divorce happening all across Hollywood, it would certainly be a nice change of pace to see a couple like Jason, 42, and Lisa, 54, stay together.
