Epstein's associate and friend Jean-Luc Brunel seems to have met the same exact fate. On Saturday February 19, he was found dead in his prison cell in Paris. It's being reported as a suicide.

Jean-Luc Brunel Was an Associate of Jeffrey Epstein

Brunel was a French model agent who was heavily involved in Epstein's sex trafficking ring, which groomed and exploited young women from all over the world. 74-year-old Brunel was specifically named by Virginia Giuffre as one of the people who aided in trafficking girls to be used for sex purposes among rich, powerful men. He was also a close friend of Ghislaine Maxwell, who was convicted last year of five out of six felony charges that accused her of recruiting and transporting multiple minors to have illegal sex with Epstein and his cronies.

Brunel was arrested in December 2020 at Charles De Gaulle airport, and he was being held in jail on charges of rape involving minors. Multiple former top models have accused him of rape. His lawyers Mathias Chichportich, Marianne Abgrall, and Christophe Ingrain sent a statement to CNN saying that Brunel's apparent suicide was "not guided by guilt, but by a sense of injustice."

"Jean-Luc Brunel has never stopped claiming his innocence. He has multiplied his efforts to prove it," the statement read. "A judge had released him a few months ago, and then he was re-incarcerated in undignified conditions."

Giuffre expressed her disappointment that she wasn't able to face Brunel in a final trial "to hold him accountable," but she is "gratified that I was able to testify in person last year to keep him in prison."

Of course, Brunel's alleged suicide just reeks of foul play. How convenient that he just offs himself shortly before going to trial and having to testify about the other prominent figures involved in Epstein's sex trafficking ring. It's even more mysterious that the security cameras happened to shut off around the time of his death so there is no footage of his so-called suicide. No matter how much the media tries to convince us that Epstein and Brunel killed themselves, the stories will never add up.
