In a candid and sweet interview, Jennifer Lawrence and mogul mom Kylie Jenner opened up about the plastic surgery rumors online. For months, fans have been speculating that Lawrence got plastic surgery after appearing at a Dior event this year.

The internet audience thought Lawrence's alleged cosmetic work was "botched."

Others assumed she had upper eyelid surgery.

Turns out, people were wrong – she just has a great makeup artist. The Hunger Games star asked Jenner, "When you brought contouring lips into the mainstream, was that something that you learned from a makeup artist, or were you doing that technique yourself?"

The 26-year-old responded by explaining that she started overlining her lips to achieve a juicy pout. "I think it started because I just wanted big, fat, juicy lips, and I just wanted that illusion that I had fuller lips. But no one taught me," Jenner said. "When I started doing that, I wasn’t really working with makeup artists and stuff."

"Wow. That’s really, really cool," Lawrence replied. "And I also think it’s incredible what makeup can do because I work with Hung [Vanngo], who overlines the lip, and I call him a plastic surgeon, because everybody in the last few months since I’ve been working with him is convinced that I had eye surgery."

She added, "I’m like, 'I didn’t have eye surgery. I’m doing makeup.'” Lawrence laughed after Jenner told her she looked amazing, saying, "Well, apparently, I’ve had full plastic surgery."

Jenner opened up about the plastic surgery rumors too. She didn't exactly talk about Botox or surgeries, but she did admit to the lip fillers. "I did end up getting lip fillers, but it’s also the same with me," the Kylie Cosmetics founder revealed. "I’ll see before and after photos when I’m 12 years old versus 26, and my eyebrows are filled differently. I have contour on. I’m like, 'How can you compare my 12-year-old face and say I’ve gotten my jaw shaved and eyelids removed?' I’m like, 'What are we talking about?'"

"My face changed because I’m aging."

Let's be real – tons of people automatically assume that celebrities got plastic surgery without acknowledging the fact that they've simply aged. In my opinion, Lawrence still looks like herself, albeit a little older.

"I have the same thing. I started at 19, so I get the before and after pictures from when I’m 19 to 30 and I’m like, 'I grew up. I lost baby weight in my face, and my face changed because I’m aging,'" Lawrence explained. "Everybody thought I had a nose job, and I’m like, 'I’ve had the exact same nose. My cheeks got smaller. Thank you for bringing it up.'"

It's sad that people say she looks "botched," considering Lawrence has had a negative reception about her image throughout her career. During her Hunger Games days, the young actress received many critiques on her figure. Americans called her fat, even though she clearly wasn't.

“I was young. It was just the kind of sh*t that actresses have to go through. Somebody told me I was fat, that I was going to get fired if I didn’t lose a certain amount of weight," she told Elle years ago. "They brought in pictures of me where I was basically naked, and told me to use them as motivation for my diet. [Someone brought it up recently] and they thought that because of the way my career had gone, it wouldn’t still hurt me. That somehow, after I won an Oscar, I’m above it all. ‘You really still care about that?’ Yeah. I was a little girl. I was hurt. It doesn’t matter what accolades you get. I know it’ll never happen to me again. If anybody even tries to whisper the word ‘diet,’ I’m like, ‘You can go f**k yourself.'”
