On Saturday, Jessie J shared the incredible news that she is pregnant again.

Jessie J Gets Shares Intimate Details of Her First Trimester after Previously Suffering a Miscarriage: "Pregnancy Is Not a Competition"

In August 2022, Jessie posted a photo of herself on Instagram and admitted that she hoped to be a mom by the time she was 30.  "Now I’m nearly 35 and some days the grief of losing a baby and it not being easy to have one, and wanting my life in that way to look completely different to what it looks like right now just overwhelms me," she wrote. On Saturday, though, Jessie was able to share some good news with her followers. She's pregnant again and feeling both grateful and excited about finally becoming a mother.

"I am so happy and terrified to finally share this…Please be gentle with me 🫂," she wrote in the caption. "Honestly, ya girl just wants to ugly cry in public in a catsuit eating a chocolate covered pickle with no questions asked."

The video is a series of photos and videos of herself enjoying her pregnancy, lovingly rubbing her belly, and still recording music. She looks radiant and incredibly happy about bringing a new life into the world.

On Sunday, Jessie posted another reel, but this one was a little more candid. She shared the struggles that come along with the first trimester of pregnancy; in some of the videos she's laughing and in others she's struggling to get by. "I was warned about that first trimester and it was WOOFY WOOF," she wrote in the caption. Every woman who has ever been pregnant knows that there are wild ups and downs that come with carrying a child into the world. Jessie shared all sorts of moments—feeling tired, crying in bed, battling nausea and morning sickness, and more.

While the majority of the comments are supportive of Jessie's pregnancy journey, not everyone is so kind on the internet. She posted a message on her Instagram stories on Sunday to remind everyone that pregnancy is going to look different for every woman.

"The comments on videos about pregnancy is a whole new experience," she wrote. "It's very interesting observing how women are with each other. Let me just say this. Pregnancy is the most relatable but UNIQUE journey. We all feel it and experience and deal with it OUR own way."

She urged people not to tell expecting mothers how to feel or how to experience pregnancy, reminding her followers that every woman's journey is different. "Pregnancy is not a competition," she said. "Pregnancy is not who is doing it better or right because not one way works for everyone."

Jessie expressed gratitude for her pregnancy and encouraged women to feel their way through pregnancy however they see fit. "We are allowed to do it however WE want," she concluded. "We got this."

There were some off-colored comments on her latest reel, telling her not to wear heels while pregnant or inquiring about who the father is. Jessie didn't point out any comments in particular, but her general message was to encourage women to support one another during pregnancy and realize that everyone's story will be a little different. In the meantime, she seems to be enjoying her first trimester while continuing to work.
