J.K. Rowling Calls Out Transperson For Making A Mockery Out Of Stillbirths And Miscarriages

J.K. Rowling calls the behavior of a trans-identifying man making fun of stillbirths "vile." He remains on the platform despite his problematic and insensitive content.

A trans-identifying TikToker going by the name "Kyle" (@tgirlkyle) appears to make a mockery out of women who suffered stillbirths and miscarriages.

In a now-deleted video, Kyle, who was born a male, is seen fake whining about a stillbirth experience. He's seen with bandages on his stomach. "They took my baby out. It was stillbirth inside for 10 months now. I don't know if I ever wanted to be pregnant again," he says, later adding, "I hope that all these mothers who have stillborn childs know that there's another chance."

He wrote, "This is the reality of trans pregnancies... sometimes our babies turn to angels."

Stillbirths and miscarriages are some of the most traumatizing and painful things women have to go through, and Kyle thought it would be a great idea to make fun of mourning mothers.

An X/Twitter user (@HazelAppleyard_) uploaded the video to the platform and got the attention of J.K. Rowling. She captioned it, "Men aren’t just making a mockery of womanhood, women’s sports, women’s rights, apparently they’re now making a mockery of pregnancy loss and still birth."

In the comment section, the Harry Potter author wrote, "Every time I think I've become unshockable I'm proven wrong. This is absolutely vile."

"I know. I’ve had two miscarriages myself and the fact these men will make a mockery of it like this… vile," the original poster responded.

This is not the first time Kyle has seemingly made fun of women. He's made videos in the past about his "first period" and "positive pregnancy tests."

More recently, Kyle came under fire for his posts about being a homeless "bathroom superuser," posting a fake image of a Starbucks notice claiming his account had been banned. It seems evident to me that Kyle wants attention, and he's great at getting it.

On June 20, the TikToker claimed he had a "disheartening and challenging" experience at Starbucks. He said he would go to Starbucks locations to sleep and that the staff interactions have "often been fraught with misunderstanding and a lack of compassion." Kyle appeared to have been kicked out of the popular coffee chain due to having more than five "reported bathroom infractions."

He posted a purported screenshot of a notice from his app showing the account had been suspended. "You have been reported as a Bathroom Superuser," the notification read.

It continued, "Please be advised that toilets should be used for no more than 90 aggregate minutes per visit." Even though the screenshot appears fake, Kyle went off on a rant on TikTok, which you can read below. Tell me, does this sound like the ramblings of a sane person?

Kyle continues to upload misogynistic content to his platform, including videos mocking stillbirth.
