Joe Rogan slams Bill Gates and Dr. Anthony Fauci in a new episode of The Joe Rogan Experience.

Joined by independent researchers Jimmy Corsetti (Bright Insight) and Dan Richards (DeDunking the Past), the host didn't hold back in criticizing “experts” Gates and Dr. Fauci for what he described as a profit grab. Rogan called the “health authorities” during the pandemic “puppets.”

Rogan accused Gates of hypocrisy, referencing the Microsoft founder’s advocacy for COVID-19 vaccines. “Bill Gates, who’s on television telling everybody, ‘Get the vaccine, you won’t get COVID,’ and then afterward it turns out—it didn’t work. He’d already unloaded all of his stock,” Rogan said. He alleged that Gates had profited from vaccine investments before the Americans began questioning their effectiveness.

“Well, you guys are really responsible for a bunch of people taking a medication that was unproven,” he said. “You're responsible for all the side effects, you're responsible for all these, and you're responsible for fear-mongering, lying, closing down businesses, ruining economies, changing the political structure of the country."

Corsetti jumped in and called for accountability: “People’s lives were destroyed, and there needs to be a reckoning.” Fauci, who retired as the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) director in December 2022, steadily grew his net worth as millions of Americans struggled. It soared from $7.5 million in 2020 to $12.7 million in 2022, according to OpenTheBooks. Fauci’s compensation package, foreign cash prizes, and expanding investment portfolio have been key contributors to this financial growth.

Rogan lambasted the inconsistency of pandemic policies as well, particularly the allowance of mass gatherings during Black Lives Matter protests while businesses were shuttered. “Everybody’s breathing, they’re screaming, they’re all yelling down the street, and you guys think that’s not gonna spread it?” Rogan said, pointing out the contradiction in enforcing lockdowns while making exceptions for large-scale demonstrations.

Richards chimed in with his thoughts on the pandemic’s economic fallout. “All these motherf*ckers cleaned house,” he said, sharing a story about a local business that was forced to close permanently. “You can’t even go to Walmart at two in the morning anymore. Everything’s closed now.”

Fauci, the highest-paid federal employee, earned a salary exceeding $480,000 in 2022, topping even the president’s pay. His retirement package, the largest in federal history, is reported to deliver $350,000 annually.

In addition to his federal income, Fauci accepted $1 million from the Dan David Foundation for “speaking truth to power,” among other awards. His investments reportedly grew by $910,174 during the pandemic, further fueling scrutiny. Why was he rewarded while average Americans faced economic devastation?

According to data from Yelp and Womply, between March and April 2020 alone, an estimated 400,000 small businesses closed permanently. Tens of millions lost their jobs, and by the end of the year, nearly 20 million households reported food insecurity, with another 10 million behind on rent.

The episode concluded with a call for accountability—not just for Gates and Fauci but for all pandemic-era policymakers. As Corsetti aptly said, “There needs to be a reckoning.”
