Justin Roiland Breaks Silence On Cleared Domestic Violence Charges But Not The Leaked DMs Situation

Prosecutors have dropped the domestic abuse charges against Justin Roiland, and the "Rick and Morty" co-creator has broken his silence on the matter. However, he's yet to address the alleged "leaked DMs" involving teens.

The domestic violence charges against the Rick and Morty co-creator have been dismissed. Justin Roiland took to Twitter to tweet the word, "justice," followed by a statement.

"I have always known that these claims were false - and I never had any doubt that this day would come," Roiland said. "I'm thankful that this case has been dismissed but, at the same time, I'm still deeply shaken by the horrible lies that were reported about me during this process. Most of all, I'm disappointed that so many people were so quick to judge without knowing the facts, based solely on the world of an embittered ex trying to bypass due process and have me 'canceled.'"

He continued, "That it may have succeeded, even partially, is shameful. However, now that the legal case has ended, I'm determined to move forward and focus on both my creative projects and restoring my good name."

People now demand the voice actor address the social media messages he allegedly sent to minors. "Ok and all the DM's to teenage girls?" asked @theserfstv. The user shared screenshots of messages people claim were sent by Roiland to minors.

"Okay so can you explain the DMs then?" added @bigscreenleaks.

Another tweet by @EliotEtc reads, "Ok. What about the whole 'sexting teenagers' thing though man."

A woman going by @holitabun on Twitter and TikTok claimed that Justin Roiland messaged her when she was only 16. When she was accused of lying, she made a now-deleted video to share her "proof." In the clip below, @holitabun records her computer screen to show the DMs between her and Roiland on Twitter. In my opinion, these messages seemed real –
and if they're not, then the user has done a brilliant job of making a mock website of Twitter.

It's important to note that @holitabun is not the only young woman who has claimed they were messaged by Roiland. According to @opposumopunk on Twitter, the writer contacted her when she was 16, and he acted as a "mentor" for years to purportedly manipulate her. "It took me years to realize it was always empty promises in attempt to coerce me into a sexual relationship," she confessed.

Other women have posted their own screenshots of sexual messages that were sent to them as well. @tattiegucci on Twitter says she was an adult when Roiland apparently reached out to her, but that she looked "pretty young" at the time.

So while the domestic violence charges have been dropped against Roiland, let's not forget that he's yet to address these inappropriate DMs he allegedly send to minors.

Evie Magazine has attempted to contact Justin Roiland and his lawyer for comment.
