Kim Kardashian’s attempt to stay relevant this Christmas with her rendition of “Santa Baby” has caused backlash on social media. Many viewers have described the music video as “demonic” and “disturbing.” The song is produced by Travis Barker.

In the video – directed by Nadia Lee Cohen and Charlie Denis – Kardashian crawls around a messy house in a blonde wig, baby blue cardigan, and nude leggings. Macaulay Culkin unexpectedly appears as a creepily voyeuristic Santa recording the entire thing.

"Demonic" and "Disturbing"

The internet is split – X users who claim to be artistic perceive the video as “avant-garde,” while Christians are offended by its eeriness. Comments across platforms are calling the video “demonic” and “blasphemous.” One Instagram user bluntly stated: “This is disturbing. And she claims to be Christian. This is absurd.” Another wrote,  “Some demonic stuff right before Xmas. Either forced to put this out or did it willingly. Either way, it’s an unfollow.”

@marissasales_ on Instagram asked, "Am I the only one getting demonic vibes?"

Another user said, “The Kim Kardashian Santa Baby video is very demonic and eerie,” while another commenter compared it to “every single nightmare I’ve ever had.”

“What a complete waste of time and money,” someone else added. “You could have fed some homeless or given them shelter. More money than brains.”

@Dom_lucre on Twitter summed up the general vibe with, “🔥🚨DEVELOPING: Kim Kardashian has left fans confused and horrified after she uploaded this disturbing video cover of Santa Baby. This video includes very questionable imagery.”

Nadia Cohen

Internet sleuths have dragged Nadia Cohen into the discord. According to Twitter user @realpeteyb123, Cohen’s involvement is part of something far darker.  “Who created this degenerate short clip with Kim Kardashian? Nadia Cohen. She’s a perverted satanist. The image on the left is her, the right is another famous work she’s done. She’s not edgy and artsy, she’s part of the war to introduce satanism and destroy and influence young minds and lost souls. Jewish people down bad again. Come get your people. She’s not a Greek, she’s not Italian, she’s not Amish. Call them as I see them.”

The Kardashians’ foray into holiday music didn’t exactly come out of nowhere. Kris Jenner’s infamous Christmas song in 2021 apparently inspired the family to consider a whole Christmas album. During an episode of their reality show, Kourtney Kardashian shared, “After my mom recorded her Christmas song, all my sisters, like we’ve all been talking about doing a Christmas album.” She even emphasized that proceeds would go to charity – a noble idea, though perhaps not enough to salvage this particular project.
