Lana Del Rey recently stunned on the cover of Vogue Italia, and her interview offered fans a rare glimpse into her personal thoughts on love, family, and the quiet beauty of everyday life.

For Lana, her family is the anchor that grounds her. She describes how important it is to stay connected with her loved ones, especially when everything feels uncertain. “It’s easier to be positive when the family’s doing well,” she shared, explaining that being close with her brother and his wife has given her a sense of stability that fame never could.

As you’re probably already aware, the “Video Games” singer is careful about how much of herself she shares with the world. Despite her image as a loner or even a bit of a recluse, she has always prioritized relationships with those who matter most to her.

As for love? Though she’s often depicted as the tragic romantic in her music, Lana’s approach to romance in real life seems far more intentional and grounded. She’s honest about what she wants and what she doesn’t, choosing to hold onto her autonomy rather than getting swept up in the public’s expectations. Falling in love with a random alligator tour guide and marrying him in a private ceremony proves this.

Lana seems to desire a more quiet and traditional life, even as she remains in the public eye. The American queen spends her time in Oklahoma, and she says the open spaces have changed her. “I’ve felt the wind, and that’s the kind of energy I want to talk about now,” she said, explaining that she’s ready for a different pace.

In her view, she isn’t here to please anyone or to fit a specific mold; instead, she’s living by her own rules. Unlike most pop stars who seem to only release songs for cash grabs, Lana is choosing only to share what feels authentic and meaningful.

In the meantime, she continues to be optimistic. In her interview, she states, “I believe in magic because, to me, it means being optimistic, having hope, and being able to share it.” Reflecting on her connection with fans, she likened her words to casting spells: “The spelling of a word, breaking it down into letters, comes from the same root as 'spell.' It’s like casting a spell, instilling a sort of magic in others.”

Lana goes on to express that hope is a powerful force, linking it to faith and, manifestation. She added, “Hope is power. Anyone who’s ever been religious has done what we now call ‘manifesting’ because they had faith. They saw heaven where there was none.”

On the subject of relationships, she shared her longing for something real: "When I get married, it'll be to someone who, like me, believes that love is enough. I'll be enough for him, and he'll be enough for me. Someone to have children with if that happens, or just friends. I want it to be simple, I need to be with someone who wants to plan to stay home with me. Love is to be saved and that's magic.”

Just a month after her interview with Vogue Italia, Lana Del Rey married nature guide Jeremy Dufrene in a serene ceremony by a Louisiana swamp. A moment that you don’t expect from one of the biggest pop stars. A fan said it best: “Lana has always been this. She’s so real.”
