Leighton Meester And Adam Brody Lose $6.5M Home In Devastating Wildfire
Leighton Meester and Adam Brody lost their $6.5M Pacific Palisades home to wildfires days after walking the red carpet together.
Leighton Meester and Adam Brody – the duo that made early 2000s TV watchers swoon – have just lost their home to devastating wildfires, just days after attending the Golden Globes.
According to PageSix, the couple’s $6.5 million Los Angeles home, a three-story property nestled in Pacific Palisades, has been reduced to ashes. Meester and Brody are just two among thousands grappling with the brutal reality of California’s worsening fire seasons.
The Pacific Palisades fire began spreading Tuesday morning, driven by winds gusting up to 100 mph. By Wednesday, the flames reached Meester and Brody’s home, a stunning property known for its five bedrooms, six bathrooms, and breathtaking ocean views. Page Six reports that the house’s garage was engulfed, the roof was blown off, and smoke cloaked the entire area. Heartbreaking images show the flames consuming what was once a lush, serene escape.
Just days before this catastrophe, Meester, 38, and Brody, 45, were living a much different reality. The pair lit up the Golden Globes red carpet, celebrating Brody’s Best Actor nomination for his role as the beloved rabbi in Nobody Wants This. Meester shared a slideshow from the evening with the caption, “Proud of my ❤.”
Within just 48 hours, their lives would be different. Neither Meester nor Brody has yet commented on the loss. Their reps remain silent as well.
Over 30,000 residents have been evacuated, while neighborhoods in Pacific Palisades, Malibu, and beyond have been leveled, and other fires like the Eaton Fire near Pasadena and the Hurst Fire in the San Fernando Valley continue to spread. Two fatalities have already been confirmed.
