"Something fetch is coming next Wednesday," Walmart teased.

Walmart is trying to draw attention to its Black Friday offerings by bringing on the iconic Mean Girls trio to their new promos. The giant retailer has revealed their latest advertisement featuring the film's reprised roles with Lindsay Lohan as a counselor, Amanda Seyfried as a reporter, and Lacey Chabert as a busy mom. Unfortunately, Regina George (Rachel McAdams) is absent from the first ad.

The audience can't help but notice how the three aged so well despite the movie being released nearly two decades ago! "they aged well and served so hard omg," wrote @InfjHakan.

Walmart is still trying to maintain its reputation as the Black Friday retail powerhouse, as stated by Courtney Carlson, Walmart's Senior Vice President of Marketing. Whether or not you're intrigued by their latest ad, they're preparing to launch a series of commercials visible across traditional advertising channels and social media, so be prepared for more. Previously, Black Friday took place the day after Thanksgiving, but the retailer has made many of its sales available online earlier in the pre-holiday season in recent years.

According to Variety, their ads are set to debut every Wednesday during the month (don't forget to wear pink), with different cast members from Mean Girls appearing in each week's ad and social media posts. Maybe we'll get to see Regina all grown up after all?

Daniel Franzese, who reprised his role as Damian Leigh, expressed excitement about the campaign, and other cast members also shared their enthusiasm for the reunion. “We think fans are going to be super excited to see us after all these years. I know we are excited for everyone to see what we’ve all been up to," Franzese said.

“It was so nice being back together after all these years. It was great catching up with everyone,” the Freaky Friday star Lohan expressed.

Chabert said, “It was wonderful to spend the day with Amanda and Lindsay. It was so much fun to reminisce and be together again after all these years."
