The unique experiment of Netflix's Love Is Blind captured audiences everywhere, and the fourth season just wrapped up with a live reunion on Monday afternoon (it was supposed to take place on Sunday night, but due to technical difficulties, it had to be rescheduled). There are a few couples who seem to still be happily married, but there was just as much drama to sink into throughout the recent episode. Zack and Bliss confronted Irina, who Zack originally proposed to and went to Mexico with, but things never worked out. Zack outright accused her of only coming on the show to "get famous," and Bliss hashed out some of the "malicious" things that Irina did throughout the process. Jackie and Josh made a virtual appearance and defended their romance in the light of Jackie and Marshall's breakup. But that was just the tip of the iceberg. Regardless of what happened with the couples, the internet has decided that the real villain of the whole live show was Vanessa Lachey.

Love Is Blind Fans Bash Vanessa Lachey and Call Her the "Biggest Villain"

Vanessa and her husband Nick Lachey have been the hosts of Love Is Blind since its very first episode. Throughout the seasons, they explain the love experiment to the participants, guide them through the milestones of the experience, and moderate the live panel that takes place at the end of each season. Vanessa has been known to be quite opinionated, but her performance in Monday's live event was not taken well by fans. She was accused of being combative, biased, and too invasive.

One common criticism was that she kept drilling the couples about whether they were planning on having children. TikToker @melworeit called her "the biggest villain" because she continuously pried each couple about whether they plan on having kids one day. She said there's nothing wrong with Vanessa bringing it up once or twice generally, but she criticized Vanessa's choice to individually grill people on their potential plans for babies. From @melworeit's perspective (and many others' in the comment section), you never know whether a couple is struggling with fertility or just doesn't feel comfortable talking about the fact that they don't want kids right now (or ever).

Another issue that fans had with Vanessa was how she seemed to attack certain people who didn't deserve to be grilled, while going way too easy on the ones who deserved heat. In particular, Vanessa tried to vilify Marshall because he mentioned that Jackie had a strong jawline, but she took it easy on Jackie when she did the virtual interview with Jackie and Josh, who are still together a year after the love experiment. In fact, Vanessa seemed very supportive of Jackie and Josh, despite many of the fans being unhappy with how Jackie wronged Marshall and jumped so quickly to Josh after her fight with Marshall.

Vanessa was also accused of poking and prodding Paul about his comment to Micah that he was unsure about whether she would be a good mother. "We all know *exactly* what Paul meant when he said Micah wouldn't make a good mom. Vanessa Lachey is making drama out of nothing," Twitter user @raventbrunner tweeted. But Vanessa kept pushing Paul to try and explain what he thought about Micah's ability to be nurturing.

Many people online accuse Vanessa of blindly supporting women just for the sake of supporting women, while treating the men poorly and automatically making them the bad guys. "Love is Blind reunion summed up: Vanessa Lachey grilling the guys, supporting the women, and being baby crazy cringe. An hour and a half late, mic problems, no answers, no time for Brett and Tiffany or Micah - just a f*cking sh*t show," @FuneralFinger tweeted.

There was so much criticism of Vanessa on her latest Instagram post that she had to turn off the comments. Fans noticed this and implored Netflix to get rid of the Lacheys as hosts.

The comments on Vanessa's recent Love Is Blind cast photo have disappeared, but many fans say that she has deleted them all because of the heavy criticism she was receiving.

Vanessa hasn't responded to any of the heat she has received on social media.
