"Love Is Blind" Heads To A Major Southern City For Season 3—Here's What We Know

Nick and Vanessa Lachey return to host the reality dating TV show for season three, and they're headed to Dallas, TX. There will be another set of singles who are ready to meet their match. As always they'll start the season off in pods where they can't see who they're dating, and eventually they'll either propose to the person they want to marry—without ever seeing them—or they'll move on.

Iyanna McNeely and Jarrette Jones from season two have unfortunately announced their divorce, as well as Nick Thompson and Danielle Ruhl. That leaves no more couples from season two who will stay together, although Kyle Abrams and Deepti Vempati may have ignited a romance off-screen.

"I don't personally measure the success of the show based on whether people stay together or don't stay together," Chris Coelen, creator of Love Is Blind, said. "From a producer standpoint, from a story standpoint, I don't want [the participants] to think at all about the show."

Vice president of nonfiction series and comedy specials at Netflix, Brandon Riegg, issued a statement about the show's success after season one. "It's been incredible to see Netflix members everywhere respond to the raw, authentic stories of real people and real stakes," he said. "We pride ourselves on creating a favorite show for any taste, and we're thrilled fans embraced all of these series with such enthusiasm and shared passion. We look forward to sparking more joy for our members."

The third season was filmed shortly after season two was finished, so the participants didn't see a lot of the drama that happened in season two. In the trailer, one woman says, "Boyfriend season is over." However, we don't see any faces in the 30-second teaser; just voices and faceless clips from a wedding.

The new season premieres on Netflix on October 19 and episodes will drop weekly until November 9.
