The Barbie movie garnered a whopping 1.45 billion dollars worldwide, becoming the biggest film debut directed by a woman.

And in case you're not tired of the toy genre yet, don't fret: Margot Robbie is working on a Monopoly movie with Hasbro.

The Oscar-nominated star and her production company LuckyChap will work alongside Lionsgate to bring the popular board game to life. In a statement, LuckyChap called the project "a top property – pun fully intended," while Adam Fogelson, Lionsgate's film chief, said he could "not imagine a better production team for this beloved and iconic brand than LuckyChap."

He added, “They are exceptional producers who choose their projects with great thought and care, and join Monopoly with a clear point of view. We are tremendously excited to be working with the entire LuckyChap team on what we all believe can be their next blockbuster.”

Surprisingly, there have been attempts in the past to turn Monopoly into a film. Ridley Scott was briefly attached to the name in 2008 to reportedly create a comedy-based film around a "Donald Trump-esque tycoon," according to The Guardian.

Besides Monopoly, Robbie is also reportedly working on a movie for Sims. The Barbie actress, her husband Tom Ackerley, Josey McNamara, and Sophia Kerr are teaming up with Roy Lee and Miri Yoon of Vertigo Entertainment to release the already highly-anticipated movie. The crew is also alleged to be partnered with the game's publisher, Electronic Arts.

I guess you could say Robbie is running a monopoly with the live adaptations (and we're so here for it).
