Margot Robbie is known as one of the most beautiful, successful women in Hollywood, but she's really a family-oriented person who absolutely loves being married. Her life took a fascinating turn when she fell in love with Tom Ackerley, a British film producer. In a 2016 Vogue interview, she reminisced about her initial reluctance towards relationships until she realized her long-standing feelings for her then-friend, Ackerley. The two had a serendipitous meeting in 2013 during the filming of the WWII-era romance Suite Française. Their friendship transformed into a relationship, which they initially kept hidden to avoid complicating their shared living situation in London. But ever since they got together, Robbie says her life has transformed for the better.

Robbie and Ackerley's professional and personal lives became more intertwined when they co-founded a production company, LuckyChap Entertainment, with friends Josey McNamara and Sophia Kerr. It was this venture that led them to pick up the much-anticipated Barbie movie project. Margot took a hands-on approach, bringing in Greta Gerwig to pen the script. Both Robbie and Ackerley were taken aback by the brilliance of the script, which later translated to a whopping $774.5 billion in global box office earnings.

LuckyChap's success prompted Robbie and Ackerley's relocation to Los Angeles in 2016. That same year, the couple got married in Australia. Their nuptials were private and they kept most of it off social media. But they have remained happily married since. They don't have children yet, but they have a special love for traveling. After wrapping up Barbie, they traveled from London to Venice and later explored Japan. Throughout these journeys, Robbie expressed her dream of "living on a train." Additionally, the actress humorously mentioned her aversion to cooking, leaving that task to the men in her life, while she and her female friends excel at enjoying drinks.

"I'm a great advocate of doing business with your partner," she said in a Porter interview in 2018. "Being married is actually the most fun ever, life got way more fun somehow. I have a responsibility being someone's wife, I want to be better."

She has also said that they remain best friends, and they have a strict rule: they don't spend more than three weeks apart from each other. And if they do have to be travel alone, they talk on the phone all the time. Robbie says that, even though Ackerley is behind the camera, he's a loud and outgoing person who loves to talk to everyone.

Although Robbie is largely private about her marriage, it's clear that she is head over heels for Ackerley and much of her success wouldn't be possible without him. This couple joins the ranks of some of the cutest duos in Hollywood, like Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher, Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger, and Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds. Many people are waiting for Robbie and Ackerley to have children, but she has made it clear that she isn't in any rush. Still, their kids would be the absolute cutest, so her fans are waiting patiently.
