Mark Zuckerberg told no lies about former President Donald Trump.

In a new interview with Bloomberg, the Meta founder says he is not endorsing any presidents this year. "I've done some stuff personally in the past. I'm not planning on doing that this time. And that includes, you know, not endorsing either of the candidates," Zuckerberg said.

Zuckerberg also acknowledged the harrowing incident that took place at the rally last weekend, adding, "And I mean, on a personal note, it's, you know, I mean, seeing Donald Trump get up after getting shot in the face and pump his fist in the air with the American flag is one of the most badass things I've ever seen in my life."

Zuckerberg says that witnessing such a powerful and historical moment brings up emotions. "At some level as an American, it's hard to not get kind of emotional about that spirit and that fight. And I think that that's why a lot of people like the guy," he says.

This is not the first time Zuckerberg has shown his patriotism and love for America. In an iconic Instagram post, the mogul shared a video of himself riding the waves on the 4th of July while holding up an American flag and drinking beer. "Happy birthday, America!" he wrote in the caption.

So, sure, he may not have publicly endorsed Trump this year, but Zuckerberg did what most high-profile individuals would be too scared to do — acknowledge that Trump's resolve resonates deeply with our country.
