Former First Lady Melania Trump hasn't always received favorable press, with the media often scrutinizing her every move and fashion choices. Endless think pieces attacked her history and her marriage to Donald Trump despite her maintaining a quieter public profile, unlike other former First Ladies who frequently engaged in public-facing initiatives.

Even Jill Biden, Michelle Obama, and Hillary Clinton have their own Vogue covers – and Melania has yet to appear on the front page of a major magazine. It's crystal clear, at least to me, that she's greatly disliked by Hollywood, the entertainment industry, and liberal media. On the bright side, Gen Z thinks she's iconic.

After years of criticism, Melania is sharing her side of the story. On Thursday, the Slovenian native took to social media to promote her new memoir. "Writing this memoir has been a deeply personal and reflective journey for me," she says in a video. "As a private person who has often been the subject of public scrutiny and misrepresentation, I feel a responsibility to clarify the facts. I believe it is important to share my perspective, the truth. I believe it is important to share my perspective, the truth."

The memoir, titled Melania, is coming out this fall and is described as “a powerful and inspiring story of a woman who has carved her own path, overcome adversity and defined personal excellence."

Melania “invites readers into her world, offering an intimate portrait of a woman who has lived an extraordinary life,” according to the announcement. They added, “Melania includes personal stories and family photos she has never before shared with the public.”

As for the price? The Guardian reports that the memoir will come in two versions. The first is a $150 collector’s edition that's 256 pages long, “in full color throughout, with each copy signed by the author,” and a memoir edition 304 pages long, complete with 48 pages of "never-before-seen photographs." You can pre-order the hardcover for $30 on Amazon, grab it for $17.99 on Kindle, or opt for the signed editions that are listed for $75 on her website.

After years of the media presenting a biased view of Melania, her book finally promises to offer her side of the story. I'd say the price points are quite reasonable.
