The Stranger Things actress and her man are the definition of young love. Millie Bobby Brown, 19, undeniably remains head-over-heels for her fiancé Jake Bongiovi, 21. After spending over two years together, the couple announced they were officially engaged on April 11, 2023. "I've loved you three summers now, honey, I want 'em all 🤍," she wrote in an Instagram post showcasing her beautiful ring. The caption is a reference to Taylor Swift's song "Lover."

Bongiovi, the son of rockstar Jon Bon Jovi, sweetly shared an image of them together at the beach. "Forever," he wrote.

Millie Bobby Brown Gushes About Jake Bonjiovi

In a recent interview with The Sunday Times, Brown went candid about her future husband and revealed that she "knew he was going to be a huge part of my life" the first time they met. Last year, the young star disclosed that she met Bonjiovi on Instagram – and naturally went from friends to lovers. "I ran to my mum and said, ‘I really, really like him!’ After we met, we knew we never wanted to leave each other’s side," she recalled. "You can’t pinpoint why [someone is 'the one'], it’s just the feeling of knowing that that’s the person you want to spend the rest of your time with."

She added, "I think so much of life is overthinking. The one thing that made clear sense to me was him. So I didn’t really have to do much thinking."

Social media users are split about the lovebirds' upcoming marriage. Some are concerned that Brown is too young to get married, but it seems Bonjiovi is following in his famous dad's footsteps. Jon Bon Jovi met his wife Dorothea Hurley in high school, and the two have been married since 1989. This year, Bon Jovi publicly gave his blessing to his son and future daughter-in-law on Andy Cohen's Sirius XM show Radio Andy. "I don't know if age matters, if you find the right partner and you grow together," he told Cohen.

Bon Jovi said Jake is "the latest" of his kids to get engaged, and three of the four will be married soon and had no concerns. "That would be my advice, really," he added. "Growing together is wise. I think that all of my kids have found people that they think they can grow together with, and we like them all."

Growing together is wise.

Many people have expressed their worries regarding Brown's recent engagement. It doesn't seem like there's anything to worry about, considering the positive impact that Bonjiovi's parents have on his romantic life. His mom and dad have maintained a beautiful bond since their teenage years, demonstrating their values toward commitment and, in turn, influencing their children. Bonjiovi's desire to turn Brown into his wife is a promising sign, proving that he has a genuine intention to develop a lasting relationship with her rather than pursuing a fling – an occurrence that's rare in Hollywood.

The host then asked the singer if he'd seen Stranger Things. "I've seen it, of course," he responded. "Millie is wonderful. Her whole family are great. Jake is very, very happy."
