The person Ava Kris Tyson allegedly sent inappropriate messages to when he was a minor has come out with a new statement.

Going by the name "LavaGS," the social media user had built an online friendship with Tyson since he was around 13 or 14 years old, according to reports. Tyson was about 21 or 22 and allegedly attended college while LavaGS was still in middle school.

Screenshots released by YouTube channels Prism42, Breone, and more show Tyson sending Snapchats about ejaculation, tweeting about nudes, and referring to himself as LavaGS's "dad." Tyson also came under fire for reportedly engaging in artwork depicting sexualized minors.

His fans believe that his comments were just "edgy jokes," and LavaGS even came to the content creator's defense, stating that nothing ever happened between them and that he was never "exploited" or "taken advantage of."

After X/Twitter users wrote in the comment section en masse that he was a victim of grooming, LavaGS insisted he was not a victim and would not backpedal on his statements.

Another individual who goes by Nathan came forward this week and alleged that he was a part of Tyson's Discord server. He claims the server "had about 10 people in there, most of whom were minors." Nathan further claims that Tyson would frequently bring up sexual topics to the minors and would send him links to pornography and hentai (anime porn).

In a new statement, LavaGS admits that he thought he had a good memory of the situation regarding the inappropriate Discord messages but realizes now that he was wrong. "This was 5 or 6 years ago and I thought I had a good memory of situation but I was wrong. After reading the chat logs, this stuff was inappropriate and wrong," he shared on X.

"I spoke based on my memory of the situation and I still do not remember these conversations but they definitely happened. These conversations should not have happened with people at the age I was at the time, I strongly condemn them. I still believe I am not a grooming victim but these conversations should not have happened with me and any other minor in this discord. I was a minor in this situation and not the adult influencer who shouldn’t have allowed this to happen, I did not see this wrong at the time."

LavaGS clarified, "This is only related to the Discord server, and Not any other statements I have made regarding Ava Tyson."

Following an intense backlash, Tyson announced that he was stepping away from all of his MrBeast duties. Meanwhile, MrBeast revealed that he had "taken immediate action to remove Ava from the company, my channel, and any association with MrBeast."
