New Kamala Harris Ad By Nick Offerman Features Young Children Cursing And Beating An Elderly Man To Death
In a bizarre attempt to promote Kamala Harris, a group of Democrat donors led by far-leftist Nick Offerman created a profanity-filled ad with young children beating an elderly man, along with positive references to drug use and pornography.
For those who don't know, Nick Offerman, best known for his deadpan delivery as the lovable libertarian Ron Swanson on Parks and Rec, is a Democrat shill in real life, and he's also the mastermind behind this latest advertising trainwreck for Kamala Harris.
Offerman created the ad for a virtual fundraiser in support of Harris, titled "Comics for Kamala," and the content is in line with the increasingly bizarre and off-putting ads from Democrats attempting to engage younger audiences. Their strategy continues to struggle, especially with men, across all demographics
Among other elements, the ad features children cursing and beating an elderly man to death, with none other than Parks and Recreation actor Nick Offerman delivering a creepy musical monologue that includes something about smoking weed and watching porn while the angry children look menacingly at the camera.
This latest entry into the Democrats’ ad lineup is as confusing as it is cringe-worthy, and it exemplifies the party’s ongoing struggles to connect with voters—especially men.
Profanity, Violence, Children, and…Porn?
In this tone-deaf "ad," children are shown casually swearing and violently assaulting an elderly man, all while Offerman’s character ominously sings about smoking weed and watching porn.
"Of course a D ad would have a grown man mentioning porn to a 12-year-old," observed Johnny Black on X. "They can't help who the are; it leaks into everything unintentionally."
The Democrats’ decision to use such a grotesque blend of vulgarity and violence to promote Kamala Harris is weird and alienating, but this isn’t the first time they’ve used cringe-worthy tactics to try and connect with voters—particularly male voters. And yet, much like previous failed campaigns, this ad only reinforces the perception that the Democratic Party is out of touch with the concerns of everyday Americans.
“We already indoctrinated your grandchildren to hate you so don’t make it worse on yourself," wrote Med Gold on X. "Wow. Incredible sales pitch."
While some liberals are celebrating the ad, the response has been overwhelmingly negative on social media. Many Americans are calling it "dystopian," "Orwellian," and even "Maoist." Some say it's emblematic of the Democratic Party’s increasing detachment from the public.
A Pattern of Cringeworthy Campaigns
This isn't the Democrats' first foray into tone-deaf advertising. Another group of Democrat "comedians" put together the viral "Man Enough" ad, aiming to address so-called "toxic masculinity and drum up support for Harris. The campaign was widely mocked for being condescending and detached from the realities of men’s lives, especially when it was revealed almost all the participants were actors or gay men.
Between this latest ad and efforts like "Man Enough," it’s clear that Democrats are still struggling to connect with men of all races and backgrounds. Polling numbers reflect this: men, regardless of race, have been shifting away from the party, disillusioned by policies and messaging that seem more interested in virtue-signaling than addressing the issues that actually matter to them.
Losing the Male Vote
The Democratic Party’s ongoing failure to appeal to men is particularly striking given how pivotal this demographic is in swing states and key districts. Rather than focusing on economic opportunities, law and order, or education—issues that resonate with many men—they seem intent on pushing cultural narratives that are either bizarrely condescending or downright insulting.
This latest ad only serves to further alienate men who are tired of being lectured. Instead of addressing the real concerns of working-class men—like rising crime rates, inflation, and job security—Democrats seem obsessed with pushing increasingly irrelevant and often bizarre cultural messages. And, as seen in their polling numbers, this strategy is not winning them any favor.
By contrast, Republicans have managed to make significant gains with male voters by addressing issues like public safety, economic freedom, and personal responsibility. Whether through Donald Trump’s populist policies or Ron DeSantis’s focus on law and order, Republican messaging has resonated far more with men who feel neglected by the Democrats’ elite-focused cultural obsessions.
The fact that the party continues to double down on these cringe-worthy cultural campaigns, despite their obvious lack of success, raises serious questions about their ability to self-correct. Instead of reaching out to male voters in a meaningful way, they seem content to alienate them further with every ad that hits the airwaves. Men, in particular, are continuing to drift away from the Democratic Party, disillusioned by a culture that seems more interested in lecturing than listening.
