Rachel Zegler is never beating the “mean girl” allegations.

Last year, the 23-year-old made headlines for her “obnoxious” attitude during her interviews. Zegler, who plays Snow White in the live adaptation, managed to make people less interested in the film when she voiced her disgust with the original tale's themes and expressed her distaste for the princess character.

Zegler is now going viral on social media for choosing the hateful route again. In a string of Instagram Stories, the Spellbound star went off, saying she’s “speechless” at the election results and what they supposedly mean for the country’s future. “Another four years of hatred, leaning us towards a world I do not want to live in,” she wrote. “Leaning us towards a world that will be hard to raise my daughter in... a world that will force her to have a baby she doesn’t want... a world that is fearful.”

Side note – Trump’s position on abortion, at least officially, has always been that states should decide and that exceptions should be in place for cases like rape, incest, and when the mother’s life is at risk. Not that Zegler or leftists care. They are just repeating that the media has told them, that Trump is taking their rights away (and what rights? Most of them can’t answer this question).

Zegler’s posts then pivoted to a message for her followers, who she said are “waking up with fear” about the next four years, declaring she’s there “to cry, to yell, to hug” and to remind everyone that “the left continues to fail us.” The media sold Zegler and her friends a false reality of Kamala Harris winning. For months, they were gaslit into believing that Harris could pull off a win, that she’d usher in a new era of women’s empowerment, and that she’d be this powerful symbol of change. And now they feel betrayed because they were sold a fantasy, and because it didn’t pan out as they were promised, they’re now reeling. In that context, Zegler’s frustration is understandable.

However, her next statement took it too far: “May Trump supporters, Trump voters, and Trump himself never know peace,” she wrote. What she doesn’t realize is that this is exactly the kind of rhetoric that has turned a lot of disillusioned liberals to the red side. The left talks about tolerance and inclusivity until someone has a different opinion. It’s ironic because this is the same attitude that’s created the hatred that she’s so worried about, but it’s easier to blame Trump voters than to take a good look in the mirror.

In another Story, Zegler says, “There’s a deep sickness in this country... the sheer amount of people who showed up for this man is terrifying.” Yet, she doesn’t elaborate on what exactly that “sickness” is. It’s all just left at “people who don’t agree with me are dangerous.” She adds, “It’s a foolish subscription to a false sense of security, masculinity, intelligence, patriotism, and humanity... I feel sad. You probably do too. F*ck this.”

She continues to tell her followers to log off of X. “Get off of Elon’s app. The f*ck are you doing?” Zegler said. She’s out here scolding people for even being on Twitter as if her anti-Elon decree is going to make a dent. Zegler also threw a little jab at Trump directly, saying she’ll do her best to “live through these four years” and ended with a nasty, “f*ck Donald Trump.” Zegler doesn’t realize that her attitude – this snarky, mean-spirited tone – is a reason why so many left-leaning individuals voted for Trump this year.

Frankly, this whole rant reeks of privilege, the type that lets you sit on a soapbox in your New York high-rise apartment and tell everyone else how miserable you are about their life choices. Zegler, you will be just fine. You’ve already been through a Trump presidency once, and you’ve got more money, fame, and security than the average American could ever dream of. You're beautiful, landing countless movie roles, building a fan base, and an increasing net worth that people can only dream of – yet you're the one who's suffering? And you believe that you understand the average American struggle enough to condemn those who are desperate for change? Maybe it’s time to realize that suffering doesn’t look the same from your vantage point.
