This time the Kardashian name is circulating the headlines because of the very thing that thrust Kim into fame in the first place: the infamous sex tape with her and ex-boyfriend Ray J. The story told by the Kardashians was that the tape was released to the public against Kim's wishes. But hip-hop artist Ray J has come forward to clear the record once and for all.

The false narrative about Ray J's sex tape with Kim Kardashian is starting to weigh on him. He did an exclusive interview with the Daily Mail to tell his side of the story and explain how the tape got leaked in the first place.

"I've never leaked anything. I have never leaked a sex tape in my life," he said. "It has never been a leak. It's always been a deal and a partnership between Kris Jenner and Kim and me, and we've always been partners since the beginning of this thing."

Kim and Ray J became a couple in 2002 when they were both 21 years old, and he allegedly suggested to Kim that they make and release a sex tape just like Paris Hilton did, which made her career skyrocket. Not only did Kim agree to do the sex tape, but she enlisted the help of momager Kris Jenner.

The young couple went to Cabo for her birthday, and that's where they shot the video. However, that wasn't the only sex tape they made. There was a second one created in Santa Barbara that was never released, and Kim apparently kept this hidden under her bed.

The most disturbing part of Ray J's account is that Kris arranged the contract with Vivid Entertainment, which means she essentially pimped out her daughter in order to ride the wave to fame. Ray J said he had nothing to do with it at that point. "Once I pitched the idea to her, just playing around a little bit, that's when she jumped on the idea, talked to her mom, and it was out of my hands from there," he said.

Ray J told the Daily Mail that he has really struggled with the aftermath of this decision over the years. "I felt suicidal because when you know something's real and it's true and you're watching a whole family create an empire from a lie they've created, it's heartbreaking and disrespectful to all the entertainers who have been honest and true to their craft," he said.

"As a black man living and working in America, it's hard to get up every day and look out at the water or look at my family and know that they think something about you when you know it's 1,000 per cent the other way. How do you live like that?"

"I couldn't be a part of any reputable major network television show and do Dancing with the Stars, and do America's Got Talent or anything like that because of my image," Ray J said. "Because of what they made me, I'm not allowed to be in those places."

He went on to say that he had a four-hour meeting with Kanye where Ray J showed him the laptop that contained "a lot little mini videos and a lot of proof we've been talking over the years."

Ray J shared messages that he had with Kim in which he accuses her of engaging in "another promo stunt," telling her that she has "taken this too far."

"Please help me stay in a positive light and I want my kids to be proud of me," he wrote to her. Kim responded and said, "I wish nothing but the best for you." She said she wants the story to be done with now that Kanye retrieved the laptop from him.

Ray J told the Daily Mail that this whole incident was the "biggest lie in the industry in the history of entertainment."

There's a lot to this story that is absolutely disgusting, but the worst part is that Kris Jenner sold her daughter's sex tape to make money and create fame for her family. That woman will stop at nothing for headlines, and it's no wonder every one of her kids has mommy issues.
