Italian-born romance icon Fabio Lanzoni, best known for his modeling career and role on countless romance novel covers, has recently voiced his concerns about the ongoing immigration crisis in his home country, as well as in other countries.

In an interview on Bill Maher's Club Random podcast, Fabio did not hold back in expressing his deep worry about how mass immigration is impacting Italy's culture, security, and future. He emphasized that the situation has gotten out of hand, and immediate action is needed to preserve the nation's character.

When Maher compared America’s immigration crisis to both the fall of the Roman Empire and the similar migrant crisis in Europe, Fabio agreed and added, "America, you know you have lots of enemies, so you really want to take care of your border, because, you know, ISIS."

"We seem unable to keep out anyone, and because the people are coming through the border now are not just from Central America, they’re from like China and like lots of people are saying, ‘Oh you can get in through there,’ and I just feel like this is going to be Biden's undoing," stated Maher.

Fabio also said ISIS wasn’t the only terror group infiltrating the U.S., mentioning other terrorist organizations that have become especially relevant amid the war in Gaza.

"I guarantee you Hamas, they have a lot of cells in the United States, as well as Hezbollah. Listen, if somebody wants to come into your house, [they] should come from the front door, right?" Fabio went on. "Not from breaking the rear window, okay? Because when somebody breaks your window, it's because they don't have good intentions. I came here legally, so, you know, many times people, they go, like, ‘Okay Fabio, you're an immigrant, you came here,’ but I came here legally. I went through the system, and I became an American citizen."

"It's almost like you go to the bank right, right? And you're waiting for an hour-and-a-half at the bank, and you have to go and run your errands, and you’re waiting, and all of a sudden, 30 people, they come in, and they pass in front of the line," he concluded.

Fabio also added that his home country is suffering under the financial and societal weight of mass immigration.

"I can tell you a friend of mine is a federal judge in Italy, and he just retired because he told me, 'Fabio, I mean, I cannot believe where our country is today,'" he explained. "And I said, 'Why, what's happening?' He goes like 'Number one, Italian citizen. They are fifth class citizens, not even second class. They're fifth class citizen.'"

"Meaning?" asked Maher.

"Meaning then everything, the government supply everything to the immigrant. Everything's for free for the immigrant. The pension plan is pretty much gone. You know, you have old people, 89 years old, they go and collect their pension plan. The government said, 'Go home because we have no money.' But in the meantime, they give free phone, free everything free [to the immigrant]," Fabio replied.

"I mean, this is, this is a similar complaint we hear in America," Maher interjected.

"But they're so, but this has been going for many, many, many years in Europe. And they're to the point where like my friend was a federal judge in Italy. So, he like, 'You know, I can't take this anymore. And I'm going to retire.' I mean, our police don't want anything to do in the middle of major city. You will have 40-50 people from, from Arab country, from Africa. This is a major during the day, major square. They get around 40, 50 guys. They get five or six women, and they're raping right there on the street. The police can be 10, 15 feet away. And the police don't want anything to do because if they get into confrontation, then, or they're going to, if they beat up these people, they're going to be 'racist' and so on," Fabio explained.

"And my friend told me, he got to a point where laws, they do not apply to these people, all the immigrant. They don't, they can do whatever they want. Their jail system is full. So these people, even if they commit crime, they get arrested, they get released the next day. So they commit more crime," Fabio said.

Maher added that mass immigration is causing massive political shakeups in Europe as it threaten public safety and culture.

"Immigration is probably the biggest issue in this election, and in European elections. I mean, Meloni in your country, you know that's how she got to be the prime minister, and she's the only one in the G7 who is popular now because she has a reputation as being tough on immigration and keeping Italy, Italy," Maher stated.
