Ever since the Oscars came to a close, nobody can stop talking about Will Smith jumping up from his seat in the audience to slap comedian Chris Rock after he told a mild joke about Jada Pinkett Smith's shaved head. But we're missing out on some other key moments of last night, including Diddy and his daughter.

While our attention was glued to the most beautiful dresses of the evening, rapper and entrepreneur Sean Combs (a.k.a. Diddy) was busy delivering the most wholesome moment of the night. He brought his teenage daughter Chance to the Oscars with him as his date, and it was the sweetest father-daughter evening.
Diddy shared photos on his Instagram story of their limo ride to the show, tagging 16-year-old Chance and writing, "My date to the Oscars!"
Diddy also gave an interview talking about how excited he was for this special moment with his daughter.
"First of all, the biggest thing that’s going on tonight, me bringing my daughter to this, because she’s an inspiring actress and we get to have a date, and I’m just so excited and I’m just so stunned," he said. "I’m at a loss of words, so, I’m blessed to be here. I’m presenting tonight, and we're having a good time."
"I’m dealing with daddy emotions," he concluded.
He also spoke about how much he loved the film King Richard and hoped for Will Smith to take home the win. "Will and Beyoncé, I’m rooting for everybody, really, but I would love to see my friends win. The place is gonna go crazy as it should," he said. "He's given so much to the art and the craft and the people, and even to his kids, he deserves it all. I’ve seen the movie and I know that he was definitely best actor of the year. I'ma tell you right, it's gonna be a problem if they don’t give Will, the best actor of the year, I'ma tell you."
Chance wore a beautiful white and silver dress with draping short sleeves and her hair pulled up. The father-daughter duo was positively sparkling on the red carpet.
