The Internet Is Losing Its Mind Over Will Poulter's Glow Up

The internet blew up in disbelief after new pictures of actor Will Poulter started circulating on Twitter – because he looks nothing like what most of us remember. (In the best possible way.)

Will Poulter first shot to fame as Eustace Scrubb, the Pevensies’ intensely unlikeable cousin in the third Chronicles of Narnia movie. Most of us probably remember him, though, from his awkward and comedic role as Kenny Rossmore in 2013’s We’re the Millers. He’s the bumbling neighbor kid who can’t get a girl and is constantly on the butt end of everyone’s jokes.

But no one is laughing anymore. A viral tweet on Monday showcased Poulter’s insane glow-up from dorky teenager to full-blown heartthrob.

Last week, Marvel confirmed that Poulter will be taking on the role of superhero Adam Warlock in the third installment of Guardians of the Galaxy. Fans were skeptical of the casting at first, until photos of Poulter at a recent interview went viral.

Twitter users couldn’t believe how the bumbling, awkward teen actor had turned into a legit hottie seemingly overnight. (Maybe this was his version of the lockdown glow-up?)

Another user reminded fans that Poulter isn’t the only Guardians of the Galaxy actor who went from dorky comedian to action movie hunk. Fans were furious when Chris Pratt was first cast as Peter Quinn a.k.a. Starlord in 2013. After all, most fans were familiar with Pratt only as the loveable but unquestionably dumb Andy in Parks and Recreation

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is set to premiere in 2023, so we’ll have to wait a while to find out if Poulter can live up to the role of Adam Warlock. But in the meantime, enjoy the Twitter comments and check him out in Hulu’s new show Dopesick. I’m definitely tuning in tonight.
