The Most Beautiful Female Celebrities (Who Haven’t Had Plastic Surgery)

Audrey Hepburn has been quoted as saying, “The beauty of a woman is not in a facial mode, but the true beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. It is the caring that she lovingly gives, the passion that she shows. The beauty of a woman grows with the passing years.”

While each woman should feel empowered to make whichever beauty decisions she deems important to her, it’s notable that plastic surgery and cosmetic procedures have become entirely commonplace and, in some ways, expected for a woman to be perceived as beautiful.

Women undergo procedures earlier in life than past generations, particularly with the rise of social media, which we have noticed has led many ladies to feel like their natural facial features are not good enough. The true diversity found in women’s untouched beauty features has brought us some of our most cherished faces throughout history.

So, we asked our readers their thoughts on who they feel are the most beautiful starlets without any known plastic surgery or cosmetic procedures. Please note that many celebrities do not divulge which surgeries or procedures they have undergone – if any – and we don’t endorse any shaming of the women who have chosen to go under the knife.

While these ladies likely have more access to indulge in beauty treatments like facials and enjoy whatever designer products they desire, it doesn't take away from the fact that they're beautiful women whom we look to for inspiration.

Without further ado, here are the 12 au naturel ladies we saw the most love for, in no particular order.

1. Alexandra Daddario

Alexandra Daddario had her big break after years of small acting roles in her late teens when she played Annabeth in Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief and has since then acted in movies like Baywatch. A brunette bombshell, Alexandra has beautiful, doll-like facial features and deep eyes. She shared with Vogue a few important parts of her beauty routine, which notably includes moisturizing sheet masks, facial purees and serums, acupuncture, meditation, and yoga.

2. Iman Abdulmajid

Supermodel Iman famously praises natural aging, saying that “it’s a privilege to get old,” and that plastic surgery is not for her. She has kept up her glowing complexion with detailed skincare routines that started before she even hit double digits! Iman even went so far as to say that she confidently avoids the need for fillers and injections thanks to a healthy, natural amount of weight gain that plumped up the looser skin on her face.

3. Gal Gadot

Wonder Woman actress Gal Gadot has been cherished for her beauty long before her American acting debut. Crowned Miss Israel in 2004, Gal has great facial symmetry, full lips, sharp bone structure, and a radiant smile. Gal credits her bright skin to her using a light application of makeup, removing it thoroughly before her nightly skincare routine, and maintaining her clean, Mediterranean diet.

4. Monica Bellucci

Like Iman, actress Monica Bellucci is a vocal advocate for her identity as a mature woman, and despite being pro-airbrushing, she has publicly spoken out against the movement to over-retouch photos. We love that Monica can embrace her wrinkles elegantly and still be a Bond girl at age 50.

5. Salma Hayek

Unlike other celebs with intricate skincare routines, actress Salma Hayek actually credits her ageless skin to a barebones approach: rose water, moisturizer, and never using sunscreen unless she is out in the sun. Salma is well-known for her strong brow line, chiseled jaw, and full lips. She proudly embraces doing things beyond just wanting her face or body to look good and indulges in moderation.

6. Liv Tyler

On the exact opposite end, actress and model Liv Tyler takes care of her natural beauty features with a 25-step regime. Liv began modeling in her early teens and credits her youthful glow not only to her skincare (inspired by her father, Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler obsession) but to her clean diet as well. I think her ageless demeanor, gorgeous cheekbones, and bright eyes might be because she’s secretly a half-elf from Middle Earth, but that’s just the inner Tolkien nerd in me.

7. Mila Kunis

Actress Mila Kunis is well-known for looking like she hasn’t aged a day since her Hollywood debut in That 70s Show, where she was actually younger than she told producers in order to snag the role. Mila is unafraid of going makeup-free, like when she posed barefaced on the cover of Glamour and admits to taking a minimal approach to her daily look. Her large eyes sweep up naturally with a high tilt and her rounded bone structure looks effortlessly youthful.

8. Anne Hathaway

Actress Anne Hathaway of Princess Diaries, The Devil Wears Prada, Les Miserables, and much more has a timeless look that she has maintained throughout her career. Her prominent eyes and infectious smile are key characteristics of her natural beauty, which she takes care of with regular facials, regimented hydration by drinking water and moisturizing her skin, and avoiding excess sun exposure.

9. Lily Collins

Emily in Paris actress Lily Collins exudes romantic beauty with her contrasting bold brows and soft, heart-shaped face. We’re obsessed with the chic, French makeup techniques that she uses to highlight her natural features. Lily makes a point to start with “fresh clear skin” as her canvas and maintains that clear skin through a less-is-more makeup philosophy.

10. Naomi Campbell

Supermodel Naomi Campbell is an icon. Her glamorous, sharp cheekbones and piercing eyes never fail to turn heads no matter what look she’s rocking. Naomi thanked her mother for imparting timeless beauty knowledge to her, like proper moisturization. She also shared with Vogue that microneedling, vitamin E oil, and hyaluronic acid serums are part of her daily facial skincare routine…and you won’t catch Naomi forgetting to bring the product down her neckline too!

11. Christy Turlington

Not only is this '90s supermodel naturally stunning, but she also plays a major role in activism for women's rights during pregnancy and childbirth with her nonprofit, Every Mother Counts. On the topic of cosmetic surgery and procedures, Christy says in her interview with Town & Country, "Never. For years these things didn't even exist: collagen, fat cells, the crazy stuff people do I cannot imagine. First of all, I have no time. Second of all, I don't think it looks good. Maybe I would think differently if I thought it looked good and it didn't hurt and it didn't send bad messages to young people. But I've never seen someone who I've been like, 'Oh, that's a good idea.' It looks freaky to me." She says that the reason is because she isn't worried about aging, and we can see why – she does it so beautifully!

12. Kristin Cavallari

Skincare guru and actress Kristin Cavallari has stayed away from the knife after watching her stepmother “lose herself in it.” Instead, Kristin uses microcurrent tools like Neurotris Pico Toner to work out her facial muscles instead of freezing them with Botox. Kristin says she keeps her skin firm and fresh with her own skincare line, Uncommon Beauty, makes a point of taking off her makeup at night, and drinks a lot of water.

Closing Thoughts

Plastic surgery and cosmetic procedures are almost expected in order to fit in with celebrities. With the lines blurring between who constitutes a celebrity and who is an influencer, more ladies are opting to enhance their appearance.

Unrealistic beauty standards may be what’s most trendy right now, but embracing your own timeless beauty through proper self-care could feel more fulfilling in the long run. You look the way you do because of your unique heritage, family lineage, and the path your life has taken. If you’re looking to go down the path of plastic surgery, I encourage you to get a bit introspective with yourself and weigh the pros and cons of whatever decision you want to make. Ultimately, we should all be understanding of those who might make different beauty choices from us and respect their personal decisions nonetheless (after all, it is a personal choice). We just hope that every woman can feel confident and beautiful in her own skin no matter what she chooses.
