The New York Times Gaslit People Suffering From The Covid Vaccine For Years—Now They Say They're "Listening"
Evie has steadfastly advocated for those affected by covid vaccines and reported their stories for years while The New York Times and other legacy media groups are just now asking if those who have suffered finally deserve to be heard.
“Thousands believe covid vaccines harmed them. Is anyone listening?” When The New York Times posted that question on their Instagram account last night, thousands of people were quick to remind them that almost all of the legacy media refused to listen.
Evie, however, has always listened to those who were brave enough to share their experiences with the covid vaccine, and we’ve consistently reported the risks for the last four years despite being criticized by those who refused to acknowledge them. Now, the NYT is trying to catch up.
Their article begins with a tragic story involving Dr. Michelle Zimmerman.
“Within minutes of getting the Johnson & Johnson Covid-19 vaccine, Michelle Zimmerman felt pain racing from her left arm up to her ear and down to her fingertips. Within days, she was unbearably sensitive to light and struggled to remember simple facts. She was 37, with a Ph.D. in neuroscience, and until then could ride her bicycle 20 miles, teach a dance class and give a lecture on artificial intelligence, all in the same day. Now, more than three years later, she lives with her parents. Eventually diagnosed with brain damage, she cannot work, drive or even stand for long periods of time.
When Zimmerman thinks about the way the vaccine devastated her life and how much she’s lost, she says “...sometimes it feels even too hard to comprehend.” She told the NYT that she believed her injury was due to a contaminated vaccine batch.
Still, the author of the piece quickly goes on to call the vaccines “a triumph of science and public health” and credits them with preventing “millions” of deaths before adding that “even the best vaccines produce rare but serious side effects.”
Speaking of those “rare” but serious risks, tens of thousands of vaccine-injury compensation claims have been filed with the federal government, “but to little avail,” reports the NYT. “Only 19 percent have been reviewed. Only 47 of those were deemed eligible for compensation, and only 12 have been paid out, at an average of about $3,600. Some scientists fear that patients with real injuries are being denied help and believe that more needs to be done to clarify the possible risks.”
Really? You think? The absolute self-induced delusion on the part of the NYT after spending the last three years viciously gaslighting and slandering anyone who questioned the efficacy of the vaccines is truly audacious. We either have to conclude that the NYT is insanely evil or insanely incompetent, or perhaps a mixture of both.
The article goes on to share a few more tragic stories of people suffering from the vaccines, many of whom were in the medical field and optimistic about receiving care until their concerns were repeatedly met with silence or dismissal. The NYT suggests “more” should be done to give them a voice but adds that it will be difficult due to disorganization and fumbling on the part of those who administered the vaccines, as well as limited funding for those who are injured by vaccines.
“I feel bad for those people [who suffered from the vaccines],” said Dr. Woodcock, who became the F.D.A.’s acting commissioner in 2021 as the vaccines were being made mandatory in many workplaces. “I believe their suffering should be acknowledged, that they have real problems, and they should be taken seriously.”
“I’m disappointed in myself,” she told the NYT. “I did a lot of things I feel very good about, but this is one of the few things I feel I just didn’t bring it home.”
The irony was not lost on many readers, who were quick to point out that the NYT gleefully stamped out all dissenting voices and labeled their critics “conspiracy theorists.”
Now, as the evidence mounts against them, they’re changing their tune. Some are calling that a “win,” and it is, but it’s bittersweet considering how many people are ignored, gaslit, and ostracized when the media chooses their personal agenda over the truth.
