TikToker Reverse Photoshops Kim Kardashian's Pool Picture To Show How She Edited Her Neck To Look Smaller
The Kardashian-Jenner clan is well-known for editing their photos to an extreme degree in order to make their bodies and faces appear slimmer and more beautiful. They've been caught red-handed doing this in the past, and this time a professional photographer on TikTok explains why it's so clear that Kim's latest photo is severely photoshopped.
At this point, you can safely say that every single member of the Kardashian-Jenner family has used photoshop to their advantage at least once on social media. Khloe and Kim have been found guilty more often their sisters, and Khloe even launched legal action once to have an unedited photo of herself removed from the internet. One of Kim's latest photos on Instagram is under fire after a TikToker explained how she edited her neck to look smaller.
TikToker Reverse Photoshops Kim Kardashian's Pool Picture to Show How She Edited Her Neck to Look Smaller
Kim recently posted a series of photos for an ad campaign for Beats by Dre headphones. She's seen sipping a drink at the pool, wearing a strapless brown top from her brand Skims. Kim has never kept it a secret that she does everything she can to look beautiful. Once she even told the New York Times that she would eat poop if she was told it would make her look younger.
A TikToker named Caroline, who is also a commercial photographer, pointed out these photos and explained to her followers why it's so obvious that Kim edited her neck and shoulders.
“Kim K is notorious for photoshopping out her traps,” Caroline said. “Why? I don’t know, maybe it makes her neck look smaller?” She pointed out that the wave pattern in the pool behind Kim's ear "has been warped" and clearly looks different than the rest of the water.
Caroline then showed how she used a tool in Photoshop to reverse edit the picture and show what it looks like when the water looks real and natural. The result was Kim's trapezius muscle being visible again and her neck looking much more normal. But normal is exactly what Kim is trying to avoid.
The video has more than 64 million views already and the comment section is full of people wondering why Kim would even make this bizarre edit, as she looked perfectly fine in the original photo.
Sadly, this has become the norm for many celebrities and influencers, which only perpetuates unattainable beauty standards and tricks women into thinking that their natural bodies are simply not good enough.
