Sofia Richie, American model and social media personality, was originally known for her high-profile family connections and relationships. Born on August 24, 1998, she is the youngest daughter of music legend Lionel Richie and his ex-wife, Diane Alexander. She is also the younger sister of television personality and fashion designer Nicole Richie. Given her familial ties, Sofia was introduced to the spotlight at an early age.

However, Sofia has carved her own path in the fashion industry. She signed her first modeling contract with Los Angeles-based agency L.A. Models at the age of 14 and has since worked with a number of renowned fashion brands. She has appeared in campaigns for Chanel, Tommy Hilfiger, Michael Kors, and has graced the covers of various international fashion magazines, showcasing her versatility and broad appeal in the industry. In addition to her modeling work, Sofia Richie has been in the public eye due to her personal life. She dated Justin Bieber and Scott Disick, further catapulting her into the spotlight. But it was her star-studded wedding in April that propelled her into a new level of stardom.

The lavish ceremony was held at the luxurious Hotel Du Cap Eden-Roc in Antibes, France. For the rehearsal dinner, Richie donned a hand-beaded, mockneck gown, a replica from a 1997 Chanel couture show, paired with diamond earrings designed by her sister, Nicole Richie. The ceremony saw the bride in a spectacular Chanel halter gown with intricate beading and a cascading train. Sofia's makeup was kept elegantly timeless by renowned artist Pati Dubroff. The extravagant wedding weekend, estimated at $1.5 million, attracted celebrities including Paris Hilton, Cameron Diaz, and more. Richie’s TikTok compilation of the wedding celebrations has garnered over 7 million views, further testament to the couple's glamorous and unforgettable affair.

The whole day quickly became one of the most iconic weddings of the century. Women everywhere wanted to copy Richie's "old money" and "rich wife" look, which is a departure from the popular fashion choices of Gen Z. Recently, a TikToker decided to take it a step further and try out Richie's wedding diet and exercise regimen, and as you'd expect, it went viral.

TikToker Tries Sofia Richie's Strict Wedding Diet and Workout Regimen

TikToker @themiaandrade decided to eat "Sofia Richie's strict wedding diet" for an entire day and she even followed the workout routine Richie does. Apparently, Richie tries to fast for the first half of the day and only has coffee until around noon. Then she breaks her fast with a salad or a high-protein meal. Her favorite breakfast is turkey bacon and egg whites, so that's just what @themiaandrade made.

She also opted in for Richie's favorite snack: a little packet of seaweed crisps, which are "low calorie and very satisfying". Many people in the comment section were skeptical that a little pack of seaweed could keep her satisfied, but apparently Richie loves them.

@themiaandrade says Richie does "a lot of mat work" at the gym so she did the same, then walked for 30 minutes on the treadmill. But Richie reportedly walks for a least one hour a day, so the TikToker got back on the treadmill to finish out the hour.

Richie tries to avoid carbs and sugar, focusing heavily on protein and tons of veggies, and eats dinner at 6:30 p.m. So the TikToker followed suit. She ate chicken, cauliflower rice, and a pile of veggies for her dinner—and no snacks afterwards before bed.

"After today I felt great," she said. "No wonder she's so glowy."

Although intermittent fasting is a popular trend, there are a lot of reasons why you shouldn't skip breakfast in the morning. Many women grapple with hormonal issues. Consuming a protein-rich breakfast aids in maintaining a well-functioning metabolism, leading to a stable endocrine system. Skipping breakfast causes the body to increase its stress response, potentially causing hormonal imbalance.

Eating regular meals throughout the day also helps maintain stable blood sugar levels. This is not only crucial for hormonal balance but also helps curb sugar cravings, prevent weight gain, and decrease inflammation. Balanced blood sugar also leads to fewer mood swings, less brain fog, and more motivation. However, overeating can spike your blood sugar levels, emphasizing the importance of portion control.

We often have the most willpower in the morning, and it might seem advantageous to skip breakfast to reduce calorie intake. However, this often can backfire as extreme hunger later leads to poor food choices and overeating. Eating a protein-rich breakfast provides sufficient energy for the first part of the day, staving off mid-morning hunger pangs and subsequent unhealthy snacking.

Although not every woman is the same and there are extenuating circumstances that may require a different approach, eating breakfast within the first 30-60 minutes of waking up is usually the best choice for overall health and longevity. Whether Richie still skips breakfast is unknown, and we can't deny that she looked her very best on her wedding day, but it may be best to skip her diet and stick to copying the stylish fashion trends she's setting instead.
