Tom Brady Admits It's Tough To Balance Work and Family Life Amid Rumors of Fighting with Gisele Bündchen
In the latest episode of "Let's Go! with Tom Brady, Larry Fitzgerald, and Jim Gray," Tom, 45, admitted that it's been hard to decide how to "maximize" his time with family while still focusing on his football career.
“Even though I’m playing in my 23rd year, I have a freshman in high school that is playing football, too,” Tom said. “I have a 12-year-old that is going through his life. I have a 9-year-old that is going through her life. And I have parents.”
“Once football season comes, I really lock in on what I need to do and how I need to focus and the kind of commitment I need to make for the organization,” he said.
Even though he's at an age where it's standard to retire, he wanted to give it more. "I just felt like I had a little left. I owed it to my teammates and our great coaches and our whole organization," he said.
However, sources say that Tom's decision to return put a strain on his relationship with Gisele, who expected him to spend more time with family after he left the NFL. "They had agreed he would retire to focus on the family, then he changed his mind," a source said.
Apparently, Gisele even left their Florida home to go to Costa Rica by herself after their fight, and when she returned, she took the kids to a water park in Aventura without Tom.
“Everyone’s got different situations they’re dealing with. We all have really unique challenges to our life," Tom said.
