Was A Truck In Atlanta Busted For Human Trafficking? Man Calls Cops After Spotting Hands At The Back Of Vehicle
A man calls the cops on a moving truck in Atlanta carrying people in the back of it after he allegedly witnessed one of their "hands tied." Here's what the police have to say about it.

A viral video originally uploaded on TikTok shows a man following a Budget rental truck that social media users believed was trafficking humans. According to the uploader, he witnessed a person with their hands tied up at the back of the vehicle.
Other parts showed the truck getting surrounded by police vehicles. Several people are seen in the back of the moving truck.
Screenshots on X/Twitter show a post from an individual who goes by Langston in Atlanta who wrote that he was the one who saved people from being trafficked. "#humantrafficking is real, my day yesterday started out as me going with the normal flow of a #tgif to turning into the good #marvel hero of saving humans from being trafficked off," the post read. "I never would've thought I actually would have seen this right in front of my eyes and not just in movies or hear about it word of mouth."
"I followed them from midtown Atlanta all the way to #gwinettcounty almost damn near to #lakenier . My ancestors and GOD said don't give up, give in or give up. Stay with them, we will guide you and protect you along the way!" he added.
Atlanta Police Release Statement
However, as reported by local news station Fox 5, the people in the video were not victims of human trafficking. The outlet reports that the vehicle contained two families, eight people, and two juveniles who were not "tied up or in distress."
They added that the people in the truck were "healthy and willingly spoke with officers, explaining that they were traveling from Alabama to Maryland for a new job opportunity. Their personal belongings were also in the truck."
"The truck driver was cited for allowing the occupants to ride in the back without seatbelts," Fox 5 Atlanta continued. "Officers transported the occupants to a local business where they could arrange alternate transportation to Maryland."
Gwinnett County PD says there is no evidence of human trafficking in relation to the incident.
